For anyone that has this pack how are the armors? is it basically just vanilla plus type armors or is there a good chuck of armor mods added in? Also how does it stack against Nolvus I've been using that one for a bit and I'm wondering if I should just switch or wait for V6.

Hi there! I've been playing both Nolvus and Lorerim, honestly they stack against each other pretty well in terms of quality. Lorerim does include a large variety of armor mods, including specific armors for for Khajit and Argonians. Everything in Lorerim is all based on anything Elder Scrolls related, whereas Nolvus adds in it's own fantasy elements that don't quite mesh with the Elder Scrolls universe. I love both, Lorerim for a fresh challenging Skyrim experience that's still Skyrim but better in every way, and Nolvus for pure fun and something entirely new and different based in Skyrim.

Definitely not vanilla but it uses conditional armor type animations so verolevi animations

If still useful to anyone : it does come with a selection of ENBs. There's one per default (a custom cabbage) but you can change easily with others that are pre installed (Rudy, Ebony and others).

1. get lossless scaling on steam 2. increase your virtual memory on the drive on which Skyrim is installed 3. tweak some settings in BethINI 4. tweak your ENB

I also have a 3080 I run the performance profile with the enb I think it’s called dawnguard performance or something but I get a pretty solid 60+ fps

Not sure what to make of this. Micro stutters, 1 instance of bugging out in combat not shown. A bunch of "I don't know what this is" when the spell stuff comes up and a moment of getting instant killed by I think an arrow? Beyond graphic mod showcase I'm not really walking away with real reasons why this mod pack over others should be chosen. Title also doesn't indicate this is any kind of "start up guide".

Oh I just followed the guide and figured it’d be easier for some to show the guide in a video but it’s not professional so I didn’t put it in the title, I bugged because I reloaded a save due to my audio messing up which I said, and I’m not advertising the modlist as a spokesperson just having fun and doing a quick start for other people afraid to try it, but don’t worry I’ll do a real review of it, but this is not that unfortunately

From a viewer perspective the focus is a bit confusing. Cheesey has a good flow and good audio quality. But this video was very confused. "I dont wanna steal, steals everything off screen but can't sell it, I need this perk its important! Without an explanation. Viewers on phones wont be able to read it. Not an attack, or being negative. Just an honest feel from a viewer who stumbled in from his SEO terms he put in the title and that thumbnail.

The mod list is nice but the requiem part is overrated. I understand the point of it but most people I see that try these mod list cheese the beginning for easy perks which should go against the point of requiem. This mod list would be better without it.

Honestly, all games with great progression have ways to cheese the beginning. That's called rewarding knowledge and experience.

You could just not cheese the beginning... I agree that most content on KZbin is cheese though it definitely sucks. On the note about the list being better without it, definitely not. The work biggie put into the progression of perks ans stats revolve around it, HOWEVER he's added difficulty sliders to requiem so the difficult setting actually matters amd does make things substantially easier if you want. AND he's added an optional plugin that he's dubbed requiem LITE that's basically removes the difficulty of requiem mechanically and only keeps the deleveled world (essentially some things stay like needing a perk to wear heavy armor effectively etc)

this is my first playthrough of requiem and i disagree. combat is way more engaging with it. sure, you have ways to cheese but the enemies themselves are CRACKED. seriously, go to any bandit/camp fort compared to vanilla. the way i look at it, feels way more rewarding to get OP to fight OP enemies.

The aim of the modlist is to overhaul gameplay with requiem, MCO, etc and add in as much elder scrolls lore friendly content as possible.

Nolvus is "what if skyrim was an epic medieval fantasy like The Witcher or LOTR?" while lorerim is "what if skyrim embraced more of The Elder Scrolls' lore?" But other than that they both aim to improve graphics, sound design, combat, immersion, QoL, and gameplay.

Guys I think he thinks lorerim and nolvus are the same modlist. Nolvus is a completely different modlist made by a completely different person and has nothing to do with lorerim.
