except 70% of the actual song is just naked instrument and melody, I hope in the future they will show off how good these girls vocal, instead of just showcase some beat melodic instrumental. That didn't do justice to their actual talent

@@walterz2928 I do agree the song is mostly instrumental, but that instrumental is good nasty. I don't know the reasoning behind the choice of a mostly instrumental track being used as their debut, but I still love it. Was stuck in my head for a long time after hearing it.

Great reaction and commentary on the choreographies. Many people hated this debut and did not give a chance for them to show how this song is perfect to be presented on stage. It's the status quo of kpop, everything that's very different and outside the big3 niche, doesn't stand much of a chance. I hope they can break it.

Being Filipino myself and Lapillus having a half Filipino and Argentinian (Chanty) member, is an instant stan for me! They are the 'dongsaengs' of their sunbaes, Momoland! - I am so glad MLD Entertainment went with a more edgy concept for Lapillus vs. the cutesy type👍 and they have multi-cultural members - Shana (Japanese), Chanty (Filipino/Argentinian), and Yue (Chinese).

I love watching this reaction from a dancer's perspective. A lot has been complaining that this song lacks vocals. I thought when I first heard the song; This is a DANCE SONG, definitely a dance song. But don't discredit their vocal/rap prowess. Everything is on fire.

They are so talented and Hit Ya was an instant hit for me. Shana especially caught my eye, her absolute confidence in her dance and vocals (doing her high notes for busking when she didn't have to!) is really inspiring (all the members are) I can't wait to see what they do next. Also, I think it's "Lap-i-llus" like how their logo is separating the "i" from the other syllables (I think that's also how it's pronounced in their intro song which I'm currently forgetting the name of if there is a name)

22:50 it's a diamond (jewel) 💎 shape, and according to them the name Lapillus comes from a Latin word that means “a jewel 💎 that changes color depending on the direction of light it absorbs.” that's why in their mv there's a scene in their background that is colorful and those colors presented by each member. 💚💜♥️💗💛💙

I love lapillus'debut, their song mixed of industrial sound, hip hop and rock, sounds so good, and reminds me of Savage of Aespa! I was impressed by the budget on their mv, they aren't in big 4 companies and did a better debut than big agency! I love their choreo, i see their live stage but i see more details in the dance practice thank you

yes a lapillus reaction! so happy your noticing these girls. idk if you watched gp999 on your patron but shana was a contestant there who got eliminated in the final episode! your right to be shocked of their sound even when knowing shana since shana barely did hard-sounding and girl crush concepts (if this counts as girl crush). everyone who watched gp999 knowing shana expected something more graceful like in the bridge or like see sea or ssfwl as she's known to be a really reliable vocalist. This though was a pleasant surprise

I'm pretty sure it's pronunciation #1. The leader/main vocal Shana was on Girls Planet 999, and she was one of the best vocalists on the show. Also Chanty is from the Philippines where she was a successful actress. And their company MLD Entertainment is the same company as Momoland.
