Is it perhaps the best showcase possible for the members? Maybe not, but what shone through from them is stage presence, charisma, and attitude, which can take them far. And the production was cool and interesting, which means, hopefully, this is a GG that is going to come out with offbeat, creatively aggressive stuff, which I'm a big fan of. Plus, those runs and adlibs at the end make it clear they can definitely sing, if subsequent songs are a little more vocals oriented. Definitely my favorite of the tracks releasing from... everyone this past week or so.

Yes, the song is great! I wonder why nobody in kpop doesn't discuss about this debut. Definetly, they are good! And I love your reaction!

I'm really enjoying this song, it's addictive and the maknae OMG!!! She is awesome

this is the kind of shock value style I'm down for its soo jarring, but that jab they take at that typical gg mv look honestly is so fun to me, and I feel like they drive the nail even beyond that with having that low dark grungy hard sound that you would never see have an MV like this unless it was blatantly a parody. I also love that the jab taken is there, but it actually isn't parody style, its like genuinely just there and they let the music and their choreo speak for themselves to sell this and I LOVE that, like I didn't LAUGH, I was fking shook in the best way possible, and I think that really sets the tone for these girlies and im honestly excited to see what they do next.

I have the bar low for 4th gen because I don't like many of the debuts but wow this one caught me off guard. If I didn't know this was kpop I would have thought this was some group that makes dance beats. It's so hype . Hit Ya is great for workouts, getting ready to go out or get up for work, or to get ready for a fight. The song does what it came to do Hit Ya with the insanity lol I stan.

I really enjoyed the song and the choreo too! I was glad to see that you enjoyed it too cuz I saw a lot of people disliked it at least on the reddit post that I saw. Ig it is a bit divisive but personally I liked it

You should check out their other track "Queendome" on their debut showcase stage. That song SLAPS

I LOVED THEM!! Their actitude felt a bit like G(I)-DLE's Tomboy: no matter what I wear or what you expect of me, I'll just do my thing, cause I'm hella good at it!

This debut is show-stoppingly epic... From the teasers I knew I would enjoy Lapillus’ debut but I didn’t expect them to grab me by the throat and swing me around the way they did 😭😭 they all have SO much presence (especially the maknae who is only 13!!) and I can’t wait for what they have next!
@avii28072 жыл бұрын
There's this weird... dissonance between the song and the video that makes it feel so jarring because the song SLAPS, but at the same time you see that the music video is SO bright and ethereal looking. In a way, it comes off as overwhelming and in your face and LAPILLUS is making it work!

Was looking forward to this reaction so much. So many things you said were the exact thoughts I had the first time I saw this, lol. You said it best when you said its an "Acid Trip" of an experience (in the best way possible). The CG scenes and honestly, some of the sets, really reminded me of the A.I. generated art that's popular these days, that really look like an artist had an acid trip before making x'D

i love the instrumental a lot but i was also hoping for more…lyrics? they’re great dancers for sure and they have potential. i’ll definitely be watching for their future stuff. might stan, because they’re not doing super cute girl concepts (yet). this is more kinda bad ass which is my style

Check out their performance for Queendome. They showed off their powerful vocals in that song.

PD, if you have the time, they have an unreleased song named "Queendome" that they performed in their showcase. I strongly recommend it.

i’m so happy you love this song this debut has been on repeat since it came out! one of the best debuts so far in my opinion
@lavendervvitch992 жыл бұрын
I really like this song! I do wish they had showcased the vocals more - like, with singers like Shana and Chanty you’d think they’d want to show them off. Also, idk what “my hip is like a wagon” means?? However it is an earworm of a debut and it makes me very excited for what they put out next. They’re all very talented.
@AlM222 жыл бұрын
@han But what does that mean too? Edit: it definitely sounds like a 'p' rather than a 't', I just listened again to try and hear "hit" like you said but can't hear it at all. Either it is hip or they pronounce "hit" very strangely to where it sounds like a completely different word which would seem odd since they can pronounce "hit" perfectly well every time it comes up in the rest of the song

It's looks like company give them girly sweet concept for mv filming but they decide to sing and dance cool powerfull girl crash😅 And I'm absolutely in love💥 They are all charismatic as hell😲

I cannot believe how much this song has grown on me. It is so bad ass and the dance really works with it too. I was so excited to hear PD's thoughts because I knew he would find the awesomeness in it. People hating on this CB was a surprise because the quality is there for sure.
