That's why the MV show Dahyun pointing her hand "gun" and shoot then Jihyo suddenly Jihyo shows and lean on the snow thing and making a wing with the snow "angel". The doughnut is a metaphor for the neverending love that they were in, hence the love loop. The male actor represents their respective partners in their relationships. If you notice, the red jelly spilling out is full of tiny little hearts which represents their past love. The video is basically them reminiscing about a past love and how it has ended (died), represented by the bite in the doughnut featuring Mina. Evidence of this is when Jihyo is making a snow angel next to one that was already made by her former partner and Sana, Momo, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu being slighted by the male actor. The song is beautiful, sultry and very sensual. TWICE once again proving why they are truly the best in the industry!

This is a perfect song for the Japanese audience. Since Christmas is more of a "couples" holiday in Japan a slow love song is perfectly fitting for the occasion. Too bad artistry is less valued nowadays. TWICE should have a special award given to them every single year for what they are doing... ok so i have theory for this music video! (sorry if this was messy, i tried explaining it the best i could lol) so basically the dude was playing them all. he poisoned them in different ways. jihyo was the first one to die. jihyo had wanted the chocolate donut(which dahyun had at first), so dahyun traded with her. jihyo originally had the white and red one, which is what dahyun was seen eating right after. jihyo was seen being shot by dahyun, this just represents dahyun killing her. and then, jihyo was seen making a snow angel smiling at an empty one. dahyun wrote i miss you, meaning she missed jihyo. she blamed herself for jihyo’s death, and basically killed herself by ordering the same chocolate donut. jihyo knew she was gonna be with jihyo soon(in the afterlife), which is why jihyo was seen smiling. nayeon was poisoned at the very beginning of the mv. in sana’s first scene, the tv showed all the members in the after life and was warning, but she was blinded by love. she was also poisoned. jeongyeon was also poisoned by the man. since the man left momo, i don’t think she knew about his plan to poison her, which is why she’s seen happy with snowman. she didn’t know he killed her. i’m not exactly sure how chaeyoung died, but her scene connects with tzuyu’s death. tzuyu was trying to warn mina and tell her about the others, but ended up calling the guy. he left chaeyoung to go deal with tzuyu to stop her from spreading the information. chaeyoung takes the donuts out, and there is one donut that was not burnt. that one represents mina, as she is the only one alive. now back to dahyun and jihyo. dahyun ate the white and red donut which is one thing that represents jihyo. dahyun eating the white donut is a just to tell everyone she was the reason jihyo is dead. dahyun left the white donut as evidence for mina to found out, which is why she’s seen at the crime scene. also jihyo was represented as an angel throughout the mv, and had a heart on her side. chaeyoung put an angel hair clip on mina with the same red heart on the angel’s side. this could’ve represented mina figuring out what happened to all the members bonus- dahyun was hugging jihyo in sana’s part during the choreo scene, which could mean them being reunited in the afterlife

Doughnut is very interesting. The doughnut has two analogy to love. One is how soft and fluffy their love was similar to the pastry doughnut. The other is how it left a gaping hole in the heart similar to the hole in a doughnut. Yet despite how it hurts them they are still stuck in a love loop. I love Twice's concepts so much.

I know its crazy but this is the my own theory of TWICE DOUGHNUT ( I'LL TELL THE MEANING OF EVERY SCENE, JUST FIND WHERE IS IT ) ● The MV started with police sirens echoing and then we got to see this doughnut which is the main evidence of the crime. ● Dahyun and the boy talked. I think she confessed her feelings that's when Dahyun known that the boy doesn't like her cause he's with a relationship with someone and left her. ● And after the week she decided to k*ll the boy and the girl tha he was with. " I miss you " are the words and connect dahyun and the boy to the crime that was done. ● Dahyun k*lled the boy first since she doesn't know yet who was his girlfriend yet. The snow angels shows it. ● And we go to tzuyu who was callinf the boy that was still at his doughnut shop. ( i think ) ● Chaeyoung was there at the same time, thinking she should confess now since only her and the boy. Alone in the doughnut shop. ● The boy eventually left her and forgot the doughnuts in the oven that chaeyoung check but unfortunately it was all burned except the middle one. Now if you count it Nayeon,Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu, We now know its jihyo that the boy is having a relationship with. ● The heart on jihyo's side is the reason for the m*rder. It's their love between jihyo and the boy. And that was her wound for the gunshot. ● Mina is on the love loop for being so inlove with the boy, and later on she stopped running indicating she now knows jihyo was the one for him. Or maybe she stopped because tha boy was k*lled ● This made mina so sad and devastated knowing the boy she loves is not coming back. And regrets that not confessing earlier. ● One more thing. The doughnut seen for the crime scene is from Dahyun. Now i think after meeting up with her friends he went to the doughnut shop and killed the boy. (End of theory)
