The story is all about, the girl is the one who (broke the love) bites the doughnut. The love of the two people is just like a shape of a doughnut but when the girl bites it (she done wrong), the guy broke up with her. The girl is the one who killed the love. Now she had a regrets thats why she cries on a dead doughnut. Sorry for the wrong grammar hahaha

Our theory of this mv was, the first girl who showed up at the crime scene(mina) was the only one who survived the poisoning or killing scene. Since she haven't met the guy. Dahyun who ate the white doughnut represents jihyo since she has this mark on her dress that she was killed and that's why she fell on the white snow representing she's already in heaven. The guy poisoined all the girls and that's why there's one doughnut that's not burned. While tzuyu was not seen eating the doughnut or never step on the shop. So you can see where in chaeyoung's part(who took the tray out of the oven) the guy doesn't want to be seen and to be caught of the poisoning because I think tzuyu is about to report it. So the guy immediately killed her before anyone knows the poisoning. Sana is too inlove with the guy, to the point that he didn't notice on the tv that there are hints that the guy is dangerous. Mina failed to find out what happened to the members, she tried and tried but she was just going in loops. Luckily before Dahyun died she left the white doughnut in the shop for evidence and also to help Mina. Now that Mina found out what happened. We don't know the exact theory but that's what we thought of the mv. Really like your reaction videos of TWICE. Their Japanese MVs has a deeper and darker scene I guess.

There was 8 member in the choreography because Jeongyeon was on hiatus when they recorded the m/v. She still appeared on the m/v though (the one with blonde hair and red dress). Fortunately, now she's back, healthy and happy. Just yesterday they had a concert in LA and her vibe was AMAZING. She look so happy and seemed to have gotten back her confidence 🥰🤩

Twice are the biggest girl group in Korea and are the national girl group. That being said they have a very distinct style that sets them apart from their other female counterparts. I mean they have millions upon millions of fans who goes crazy for them.

Twice does have 9 members but 1 had to sitout the dancing part of the m/v as she was resting at the time this was being shot. And Yes, Twice's Japanese releases have a deeper and darker meaning than their Korean releases, "Doughnut" has so many interpretations that until now, we still don't have the Real answer for it 😆 😅 😂😆 😅 😂

They all died except for Mina the girl on first scene. The killer is the guy. It's a crime scene. When you watch the theory of how they died in this MV. You'll be blown away. Example when the girl Tzuyu on phone booth warns her friend in cafeteria and the killer answers the phone. etc. Then burnt donut is a warning that only Mina the girl on first scene survives.

The theory we were trying to Crack was that Mina ( the red dress w/black long hair) is the only survivor...that she cried bc she was late to rescue her friends who poisoned by the doughnut that the guy gave...remember the 9 doughnuts that came out of the oven..n only one was good..it meant that Mina is the last person left...all of them died..Tzuyu (the girl in the telephone booth) she was calling to warn chaeyoung (the girl that pulled the tray of doughnut out of the oven)...the guy picked up the phn..so that's how he found out n started poisoning them..

So basically the guy is the donut. He represents the crime scene the donut and the crime scene is actually his body. He was killed and before he died the all the girls were fighting for him in the MV and when they didn't get him they got jealous and started killing each other.

Yes there are 9 but the blonde girl (Jeongyeon) didn’t participate in the choreo parts since she just came back from a health break. The m/v is about all of them falling in love with the same guy but one girl (Dahyun) wants the man all to herself so she killed the girls except for Mina the girl in the ending and Tzuyu the only girl who didn’t take a doughnut in the table, the lyrics is about a one sided break up where it compares to a doughnut in order to escape from the feeling of being stucked in the situation you have to bite the doughnut to free yourself from a relationship that is no longer existing.

They are not second to BP at all. They are the most successful Kpop GG in the history of Kpop and they have close to 200 songs in their discography which is about 6-7 times more than BP along with over 11million in album sales, far surpassing BP. They are not underrated at all. If anything, BP is overrated. Any time that their is content about TWICE there's always a BP fan that has to interject something about BP just to ride TWICE's coat tails. TWICE is on their own level and no other GG can match their achievements. You can bank on that.

Just a couple of facts/personal opinions that might help you out. 1. This song was released near Christmas. Although Christmas is celebrated in Japan it's more of a "couples holiday" (much like our Valentines day in the West) than a Religious holiday. 2. Although the lyrics are depicted mostly in the M/V the song and the M/V tell 2 different stories. The song is clearly a wholesome love song for couples to share , but the M/V is depicting a failed love , a love that was hurt and bled to death. BUT it's art and art is subjective. There is no right and wrong and whoever claims that directors or X . Y . Z should've done better , this or that are free to produce and direct their own version. ✌

little suggestion here . it's a TWICE JAPANESE songs . in kpop usualy the japanese release are not very popular even by they're own fan's because it's not a song made for korean of western fan's. TWICE as a lot of songs and it's easy to be lose for a newcomer . so before reacting on songs you can maybe made a pool ?? many reactor do that . if you want fall into they're work it's maybe not the good way to do because this song is pretty but not they're type of songs or music that didn't show they're colors. they 're old work is more immature for teenager and since 2019 they're more mature and switch a little bit they're concept .

A thought on the concept behind the song: maybe it meant to be something wonderful, but its presentation is poorly done. Maybe it 's you who fail to see something wonderful in this music video. Or it could be that the fault lies with the video director, and that he/she needs to go back to the drawing board. I incline to believe it is the latter. Too bad, it is such a visually gorgeous piece of work, and the girls are gorgeous, too, and perform very well. Don't be too hard on yourself. Love your reactions.
