My favorite part of Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was the beam struggles! The camera switching back and forth and the screen shaking always is epic. Plus that initial 💥 sound effect when the beams connect. I would always love seeing ss deadly bomber go against a death beam. Tiny beam vs a screen wide energy ball lol. Super silly looking

3:15 when "dashing" if u want to dash DIRECTLY AT the opponent and not go past them, just hold L2+X. Some ppl tend to hold the arrow or analog stick in the opponent's direction while using L2+X which causes them to over-shoot where they want to go

Even if Raging Blast 2 doesn't have an explicit story mode, the team-exclusive super attacks and banter between characters make them basically have an implicit one. If you select the characters involved in a certain fight from the story, they basically play out the dialogues of that fight beat by beat if you keep following the script with character switch, transformations and attacks.

Weird nitpick I had even as a kid was when I went back to tenkaichi 1 after playing 2 or 3 was the health bar, it made the game feel so much worse for me since every attack felt like it dealt so little damage after experiencing the sequels

@@badwithnames5180 on top of that, the healthbar only had ONE "level" to drain and that was IT. Whereas in 2-3 there were multiple phases to deplete which helped extend the fights

Really glad this video has blown up like it did and gained you some traction. This is the perfect time to release a vid like this. I’ve been watching you for a while and you always make quality and funny videos. The more I watch them more I keep realizing how much you ‘know ball’ lol. This is definitely one of your best put together videos. From the dragon ball references, to the robot chicken references, to the meme of trunks in front of the tv (which killed me). On top of this being a funny and easy to follow video , you really capture the love and passion these games gave us fans when we were younger. Personally I think raging blast 2 is the perfect dragon ball game from a pure combat perspective even though I wish it had an actual story and it would’ve been perfect

In Ultimate Tenkaichi, I found out an OP tech where if you hover above your opponent and slightly in front of them, you can shower them with ki blasts. As long as you don't do a full combo, you can just keep doing damage and they can't do anything about it because they won't be able to hit you with their own ki blasts. They'll just go under you, then arch upwards and completely miss you. Then all you do is wait until you can kill them with an ultimate attack.

I think it depends on blunts waves emitted from the planetoid. Vegeta could be a good tool for exposition on the science of the effects of this on Saiyan physiology. He himself has created an energy source that emits blunts waves to aid in the ape transformation in dbz. But they would need a plot point that facilitated the re-emergence of their tails.a possibility could be their tails starting to regrow as a side effect from the DragonBall wish regressing them back into their youths.

neo story mode >> meteor story mode, the latter skips too many battles for my taste and feels like a quick catch-up for a main story that never happens. but meteor just feels better to play and the other content is better (minus sim dragon), plus all those characters. it's a tough choice for me, I wish the two could do the fusion dance

Dbz bt2 is the best out of all three. I tried bt3 and the fact that you can block ultimate moves is dumb. It should take skill to dodge and counterstrike and true fighters will learn and study the game
