At 74 which was last year I started learning the garden just a little bit. I am now 75 this year and I have a few raised beds and I’m learning. Worked all my life hard. Had a business to an outhouses started with four we grew up to 1300. And now I’m a chaplain however the Lord said you need to start doing some of this so I have and I think it’s been good physically for me my physical body is not what it used to be when I literally deliver those out houses and pick them up. And pump and do all the 5 gallon bucket stuff that ain’t working so good these days, but I am learning and I am enjoying the gardenand it makes me get up out of the chair and that’s the most important part

Hi from South Texas near Corpus Christi, Texas. I've lived in this area all my life. I learned gardening, Cattle raising from my Grandfather who grew up in The Great Depression. Skills passed down through 4 or 5 generations Great Generations. Sone things should be shared even outside your family. Most youngsters are in a Coma but there are a few around, very few around that can be brought back from THE BRINK!

Never regret milking my own! Besides there's no place I'd rather be than right here... 😉 And love tending my homestead and teaching my babe-os! Love all the lost arts! ❤

A submissive servant-heart wife who will be there with her husband for richer or poorer in sickness and in health till death part them is the KEY in making this happen. But if no submissive woman who will be loyally submitted to a man and serve him lifelong (in compensation for his greater tasks of leadership and provision for her) is not available to such a man, then it is best for him to lead this homesteading life as a single man.
