I owned a pair of the 06's when they came out, I was 14. I was so excited for these to wear as tangible memories of those days. I would have bought em either way if I had the money this year, But I did try a pair on, and they seem really thick. Like a pair of 5's or some skateboarding shoes. The fit is so different it's a disappointment.

by far one of my favorites Jordan 4 colorway. my 06 pair brought me so much joy, it was my good luck charm. whenever a shoe release came out, ill put on my black cat 4's, my all-black Jordan basketball shorts, and all-black hoddie to go camping for sneakers and ill always come home successful. I'm really surprised that your 06 pair are in mint condition

2020 Black Cats would’ve been perfect had they put the “Black Cat” stitching on the heel tab and make a thinner uniformed tongue like other 2020 Retro 4s. They put the OG ‘89 tongue on it which is too puffy making the topline crooked and bulky almost resembling fakes. It doesn’t make sense. They need to do a recall and fire the design department responsible for this lol *Still can’t believe these are reselling for $8-1k

2006 reigns supreme over the 2020. I wore that sneaker to do everything. Hooped on blacktop, drank and spilled beer/alcohol on them several times. That sneaker is undefeated. Also....behind the tab it reads black cat.

Jordan 4’s have been weird for me lately. Got black cements in a 10 and they were way too tight. So when cool grey’s released I got a 10.5 and they’re too damn big. My white cement from 2016 is a 10.5 and fits perfect

Cracking in the mid-2000s era Retros were not nearly as bad as the 2011 to 2014 era retros the True Blue threes Fire Red 4s black cement 4s were horrendous. My Mars Blackmon Fire Red 4s from 06 did not crack nearly half as bad as the ones that came later
