Of all the changes they do on all shoes, they shouldve done a stitched jumpman and a stitched 23 knowing that plastic gets discolored and eventually dries out and breaks apart.

The OG infrared 6 had what seemed like two different materials because of a factory mistake and they can’t replicate the mistake that they made....weird but that’s why the OG looks the way it does compared to the retros.

I remember the ankle pods on the 6's you could depress the pod with your fingers because there was just foam underneath the synthetic leather. I always thought that would've been cool if JB went back to making the ankle pods that way again. I passed on these DMP's because I have 6's in my collection and I just wasn't excited over another pair of 6's with gold hits.

Hey Marv, just realised I hadn’t subscribed to you on this channel. Love the comparison, as always top quality. I pulled out the original DMP pack too and made a video of the VI, made one of the XI too that can be uploaded soon. When will the XI release? 14 years ago I got so lucky, as far as I can recall the original DMP didn’t release in the UK and I got a massive hook up, that doesn’t happen anymore, but OG heads will appreciate!

Very good review!!! At least it's more consistent in terms of rendition and/or Materials for a vintage black jordan VI . 1991 is full Durabuck even the heel part which looks leather from molding process . 2000 Infrared is thin durabuck all over , the Achilles bubbles is the same as the front part . Molding makes heel portion different 2002 Low metallic is thin durabuck all over like the 2020 DMP. 2006 DMP Same as 2000 but cheaply made , the rear can crease to looks cardboard 2009 Varsity and Infra pack looks nubuck 2014 Infra 23 looks Nubuck 2019 looks Nubuck but can be misrepresented as durabuck since it's short fiber material . For me it's a no brainer i remember those varsity reds ashy larry when they dropped .... no good . I love that rubbery synthetic nubuck , more waterproof even if it can crack overtime . Premium feeling ? these were sports shoes nothing premium from the beginning . This is it !!!
