Hi, is there OKU bay onboard the ART and is there any ramp for OKU boarding because I see looks like board from main road and wheelchair can't enter. 😢
@vincentkohlumcfan227 ай бұрын
From what I remember the staff will definitely assist. 👍🏼👍🏼 as for OKU bay I think at least 1 car has it

Erm, no? Already said it was a trial run. There’s no finalised routes even so it’s too early

riding this for the novelty was 100% worth running in the rain towards the bus shelter later in the afternoon because i didnt bring an umbrella. maybe
@edq310 ай бұрын
also my ride went around the loop twice to make up for it taking too long to start moving. not bad for a ten minute wait lol

Malaysia does not have the best track record when it comes to Maintenance. Sure, this will create alot of buzz in 1-2 years, but after that, things will start to break down and given how badly Malaysia maintains things, this will eventually be yet another Expensive White Elephant. And there's nothing really special about this. It's just a Very Long Bus that's all. Instead of wasting all the money on something that looks Cool, i'd rather they spend the money on proper maintenance instead. Fix the bloody fallen roadsigns, pedestrian bridges and potholes on the road.🙂

We somehow still need a solution for the Putrajaya mobility problem despite being bike friendly

Not open to the public. It was a trial

Well I agree with everything Ernest said on twitter, namely concern about: - lack of spare parts because there is only one supplier - much much much more expansive than EV bus - rather low range even for an electric bus - crazy heavy which can damage road surface Sarawak implementing this is dumb but at least you can still argue that they are trying to create a demand for their hydrogen fuel industry which the state govt is trying to push. But for putrajaya, kajang, shah alam? They are better off spending that money on maybe another 500 buses to increase frequency on existing bas services. Singapore have top tier public transport with 5k buses and 0 ART meanwhile we only have 1k buses across RapidKL, RapidPenang and RapidKuantan.

We also have to think about how to bridge the gap for our bus drivers. While companies are now paying more, there is still lots to educate the public regarding bus driver stigma. Which is why there is nobody willing to be bus captains. That’s a big problem to implement more bus services

So noisy from the inside. I though EV's are quieter than traditional vehicles . 🤔
