Camping and metal detecting on the river is tonight's adventure. This is part one of 3 of this metal detecting on the river journey that I went on recently where I was searching for relics like coins, bottles, gold bars, and other treasures. But mostly, I was searching for some time alone and a peaceful, joyful memory.

The Chigg sure knows how to live. What a place to spend a night. Peace, solitude, campfire, and the sound of the waterfall and moving water to go to sleep by. Damn...I envy him. I'd sleep like a baby out there. I just hope the samsquanches can't swim to the island.

Man, I miss camping out in the woods. Nothing like the sound of a creek/river and wind through the trees to fall asleep to. Samsquinches don’t need to swim out there-they’ll just hop over and swap campfire stories about the legless hermit who runs on his hands and ruthlessly goes after anyone who thinks to stay in his territory. 😆

Hiya all! First off, I just found the River Hunters show which Aquachigger co-starred in, for History Channel UK. It's not available on regular KZbin (I'm not sure) but is now on KZbin UK (if you can access it). So far, looks pretty interesting. I VASTLY prefer Aquachigger's vids (like this one) 😃 but grant that I've not seen all of it yet and perhaps I might change my mind (but I doubt it). Love the river adventure, 'Chigg, nice stirrup! 😏 looking forward to part two. Thanks for posting this vid, I always enjoy whatever you post. MRE's are great when you have nothing else to eat. I have over 3 dozen of them and I use them all the time when winter camping. You should invest in some Mountain House freeze dried meals and they are reasonable in price. Great videos.
