I am so old that I remember when that old abandoned power plant was still in operation. We spent many many hours bank fishing about a half mile up river from there when I was a kid. The catfishing was great using good old catfish blood bait doughball. What a nostalgic smell.

I fished there quite a bit when I was younger & you definitely need heavy gear in there. A few years back when the river dropped down to where you could walk all the way to the current seam, man there's literally whole sinks with the counters, tires, a dishwasher and damn near anything else you can think of stuck in the mud.
