Seeing this vid after Sora was announced is so,,,,,,both funny and almost nice to see. Like goodness, as much as it was a complete shot in the dark to keep asking for Sora after the news, and as much as people wanted other characters, it's nice to see something come to fruition like this. I won't lie, there were a lot more memes and "funny" jokes in the original first draft I finished earlier this month. About a week ago, I watched it for the 50th time and realized it sucked and, frankly, was a little more cynical than I think I am. I think this version is a bit more calm, but ultimately a better representation of what I wanted to make.

I remembering not understanding why when I was a teenager my bf at the time played smash brothers constantly. I was like how are you not bored of this? But after understanding a whole lot more about video games I totally get it. For me personally I like RPGs that have emphasis on plot a lot more. But that’s mostly because I suck at actually playing games myself but my brother loves them and I’ve grown up watching him play games my whole life. It’s one of our favorite activities. It’s not that I haven’t tried to get better but my god somehow my real life incoordination translates to video games and I have struggled just walking in certain games. I have zero hand eye coordination and I have the slowest reflexes ever. I have really short fingers and I’ve noticed I have way less motility in them than other people which is probably related to auto immune disease. Not that I literally ever have free time for games. Plus I have carpel tunnel now too which makes everything worse. I can’t barely even play animal crossing for more than couple hours now. I envy people who can actually play so much. What also sucks is me being a girl. It’s not the reason but I get plenty of comments that is the.only reason 🙄 sorry this totally unrelated but I’m lonely af and comments help boost videos and this channel deserves more subscribers

YES you get it. I have awful hand eye coordination and absolutely suck at video games but plot heavy RPGs are my go to. I've tried getting better at other genres like platformers and beat em' ups but in the end my baby hands just get in the way. And after years of watching my brother play FPS games and trying them myself just for my stupid little hands and awful coordination to make it an unbearable experience. I've just resigned myself to RPGs. Don't get me wrong though I love RPGs but it's disappointing knowing that it's a pain to play other genres (sometimes literally)

Your content is severely underrated! To answer what you said about halfway through, ROBLOX is essentially a game creation engine. Gets a bad rep for being for kids(the larger community is in fact heavily child oriented) but it gets used for other stuff too. Main appeal of it is the free server hosting it provides.

Great work recapping everything that went down last year. Just a quick fact check on Smashgate - it didn't start with Puppeh accusing Cinnpie. There had already been a few days of allegations and people getting outed at a more local/regional level at the end of June (some of the most notable instances being Jtails and Xzax). Cinnpie was just the first super high profile case. Also, regarding the 8.1 online improvements, they actually managed to shave off about a frame of input delay as well as doubling the refresh rate for increased responsiveness which was really nice

I will happily (but embarrassingly) explain what roblox is Roblox is a large user based platform where players can make their own games for other to play and create on. It is very, VERY, kid friendly, with the top games being very bright and colorful and most users being below 13 years of age. It has gained a bit of a reputation as being “cringe” and I can see why, but it does have its good games. It also has terrible chat filtration, censoring the most basic words, but other than that, roblox is nothing more than a dumb kid website.

They also have a character customization thingy that lets you customize them with shirts, pants and accessories. I still want a third party character who isn't strictly from games but has a huge legacy of video game entries. Batman, Goku, Spongebob, 007, maybe even a Star Wars character. I know they're not "fit" for Smash's legacy or what Nintendo fans see as "real" game characters, but all of those characters are respected parts of gaming circles now. Plus I think most players will still get excited over them.
