I don't exactly know current situation but back in the day it was not really raided all that often also. Mainly cause there is no point in doing it and most people have better things to do.

@@pofruin cant speak for it being generally worthwhile, but my pals and i made a day out of running out to westfall and running DM several times. and i gotta say that the run through westfall - there and back - was some of the most fun world pvp ive ever experienced... we had like 20 alliance coming after us constantly - thankfully it took them several hours to finally organize and take us down, but when it lasted it was so much fun. it was early in classics lifecycle so there werent many high levels around, and people who were high level at that point werent going to waste grind time to help some lowbies (and to be fair, we werent ganking, we were just running around because we knew people would attack us)

I'll never forget the day I scammed a GM into giving me a Chromatic Carapace (1st on Alleria ) telling him I accidentally deleted it. I spent 2 weeks out in eastern plaguelands waiting for the bloods i needed for the carapace to spawn(They were bugged and only respawned on maintenance apparently).. This reminds me of the time we had a 3-hour interstellar player war in SWTOR. Something like 4 guilds on both sides spent the time attacking and subduing opposing bases on various planets. One side would conquer one planet, then word would come in of an attack on another planet and everyone would rush to that planet's defense. Shit was dope.
