When I do these videos I use the wiki as the main source of the info and then from there I confirm with the books (If i have them and see how accurate it is there) and then from there I'll look into the quests and try to do them If i'm able to, sometimes it is a long questline to get to the part I'd need so I can't get footage in time, but I'll use ChatGPT to rewrite the wiki and from there I'll re-read it and tweak it from there, adding and removing or writing my own stuff in there due to needing more detail. Hope everyone enjoys the supercut with all the zones, if you'd like to look for individual videos I have a playlist with all of them there as well. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy!

There are books? Can you elaborate?
@scrollsofazeroth11 ай бұрын
@@rickfairfax9631 Oh yeah, there are quite a few books. The ones that i'm currently using are the Chroncles books volume 1,2 and 3, Wolfheart, Sylvanas, Illidan and many more that i don't personally have. Some of the lore within the Chronicles books has been retconned, but for the most part the lore within the books is accurate (I'd have to look into retcons from the books, but there are many books.) If you'd like a list here is one i found www.goodreads.com/list/show/189036.Reading_Order_of_Warcraft_Books hope it helps :)

@@stumpe9662 Nope, voice is me reading it. I'm trying to improve the writing so It can flow better cause there have been a couple sections in past videos where I didn't know how to really transition, only AI stuff I use is to help write the script, but everything else is done by me personally. Overtime I'd like to rely less on AI for my script, but time is a big factor for me and I'm not the best at writing atm

(my English for example lol) but you are doing a great job already. My main language is Spanish and I was able to understand everything you said very clearly and I was able to keep up with you at all times. No subtitles. So great job buddy keep up the hard work!

It's constructive criticism from an audience he already has... it's not about being understandable, it's about it being jarring to listen to. Listening to someone speak like they have anxiety puts the listener on edge and is the opposite of "chilling out". The content is EXCELLENT but the suggestion to slow down a little while talking would greatly benefit it. Listening to your audience while defining your content is crucial, it shouldn't just be dismissed.

Just to reassure you, you are correct on the Titian's when talking about Sholazar Basin. They were too big to actually do anything themselves, so they created the Keepers out of Stone and Metal from Azeroth itself. Y'Shaarj was too powerful for the Keepers, so Aman'thul yeeted him, which is when they figured out the Old Gods had burrowed too deep, so they chose to imprison

When it comes to the end of Ursoc, I have a theory that it was actual the Winter Queen asking Ursoc for his choice. With him reflecting within her eyes, the mention of a pure heart and the subtle audible response Ursoc himself gave after the question. Not that it matters much, the result is the same, but it just goes to show how much of a G Ursoc truly was.
@scrollsofazeroth11 ай бұрын
I could get behind that, Ursoc always showed he was willing to put his life on the line and willing to sacrifice it all time and time again so I wouldn’t be shocked if she could directly communicate with him. Either way, just kills me especially after researching it and seeing just how much he went through lol

in the original lore the Titans did basically all the sculping of Azeroth and the constructs were just to maintain their technology and the seals on the old gods, who they directly sealed themselves after deeming it too dangerous to unleash a titans full power to destroy them. the Dragon Aspects were empowered directly by the titans to manage Azeroth after they were ready to move on and build up more worlds. the lore was retconned several times over the years with the Constructs becoming the keepers and gradually taking some of the feats and duties that were originally belonging to the Titans themselves or Dragon Aspects. (the titans can make Avatars to interact with the world directly on a smaller scale but only at a fraction of their power which wasn't sufficient to kill the Old God's outright but were able to defeat and seal them).

I will never accept The Jailer in any expansion's lore. Especially WoTLK.
@stankobarabata24066 ай бұрын
I mean it just completely invalidated the Lich King's previously established lore (Lich King as in Ner'Zhul, who apparently isn't Ner'zhul anymore somehow). Which was odd considering an entire book was based around Arthas melding his personality with said Ner'zhul, I believe? Nobody was gonna like that. Arthas is like THE fan favorite character. Like, most people universally like Arthas' story. No matter which class you like or what kind of faction you are, you universally like Arthas most likely. Because it's just that good of a character arc. The worst part about Zovaal (yes he actually does have a name, people just never used it, devs forgot to actually use it in-game for the most part) is that he WOULD have made for an intimidating villain if not for the small factor that just two expansions before we already faced one of the ultimate and perhaps oldest over-arching final villain - Sargeras. He was basically "The big bad" before all the Void Lords and Jailer bs. Back in RTS days. He's like the Melkor or Sauron of Warcraft lore. That's why we never directly fought him. We just stood that little of a chance lorewise. Strong as we might be, this is a dude who cleaves planets in two. Like there is no amount of wanna be plot mcguffins to avert or diminish that fact. The jailer feels like... fighting the mouth of sauron after already witnessing Sauron fall lol. It's like "Aha I was actually the one pulling the strings" and then he fumbles his millennia old plans one after another. Well to be fair, WoTLK Arthas acted a lot like this too, but I guess Blizzard just started struggling writing interesting villains after the Activision acquisition. Must be something in the water there, but no use crying over spilled milk.

@stankobarabata24066 ай бұрын
@@yayano8415 MoP was a decent below average? Except people seem to universally agree mop had one of the best pvp experiences hands down, and while the story was a meme, the zones were cool. Dungeons were okay-ish. It's above average as far as wow expansions go for sure. It was certainly better than TBC, the broken mess that TBC was even in the classic re-release. Cata was the world revamp. As controversial as it was interesting. And the pvp was still stellar as it always was. Dungeons were interesting. The main villain was compelling and the new zones were cool (except Vash'jir). What more could you want? And Legion is basically the second coming of Wrath lol. It was so good. PVP was the only bad thing about it, everything else was AMAZING. The story, the dungeons, the raids. It was a culmination of a 10 year long storyline that finally had us face Sargeras and the Burning Legion in full force. The zones were masterpieces. Artifact weapons, superb Class identity and storyline, all the characters you know and love are there. I can accept the other two, but Legion was so incredibly good that I can't just abide bad talking it. And if you dislike my opinion, then wrath classic is there for you to enjoy to your heart's content. I dislike the rhetoric of "oh only the first three expansions are worth something" simply because TBC wasn't all that good, and Wrath literally paved the way for modern retail with all it's gimmicks that people seem to hate everywhere else but love in wrath. Makes no sense.
