these are viking runes. the one that looks like an F is Ansuz, which is for aesir gods (war gods like Odin, Tyr, Loki, Thor, etc) the one that looks like a sideways hourglass on stilts is Mannaz, which resembles man, the M is Ehwaz, which is basically horse or transportation, the one that looks like an R is Raidho, meaning journey, movement, work. The final one is Thurisaz, which means giant. My guess is that represents the Yeti. Like this so they see it!!!

to kill it you need to make it lose its aggro cause it takes more damage from the traps when it is just walking around... so it hits a trap becomes aggro you just have to run away until it loses its aggro and then you do the same thing all over again eventually it will die...

... Kinda shitty gameplay, especially since you have limited ammo I mean, WTF? I prefer the first game where you slowly had to chip it's health away with long range shots, sure traps were more effective for damage but at least they weren't your SOLE source of it. We're not even really hunting it, we're just waiting for it to run into traps we set down and moving to the other end of the map... Haaaah, I'm rewatching Finding Bigfoot, that was a lot more fun.

This is gonna be a long one guys, but its worth the read for possible info on the runes. So the runes can have many meanings and I shall use my interpretation of the common uses of them, but it looks like center symbol (which in runic symbolism can be the target of a spell) is mannaz, some common meanings are mankind, me, self, family, relationships. The funky F is ansuz, meaning Odin, communication, true vision, justice, leader. the R is raidho, meaning journey, change, evolution. then theres thurisaz, which looks backwards or flipped which has its own meaning with the runes in spells(like the opposites) which means defense or conflict or is the symbol for thor. Lastly there is the W which is odd. I believe its an unfinished berkano rune which looks like W with a line through the top normally and would mean growth, birth, or new beginnings. Ive also seen people say its the ehwaz rune, but that looks more like an M with the center going only halfway down, similar to the central mannaz rune in look. ehwaz means horse, transport, change, teamwork. If its a curse, the stones target would be mannaz(meaning self[possibly the yeti]) with raidho{rune is backwards}(meaning evolution/journey) thurisaz{possibly backwards}(meaning defense/conflict) the unfinished berkano(growth/new beginnings)[or if its ehwaz it could be horse/harmony/teamwork/loyalty/trust] and then the last rune is ansuz(odin/insight/true vision/justice) So it could possibly be read as: "the self" has been "cursed/evolved" to have "thor/conflict/defense" with "growth" in power by "odin/justice". In theory Odin cursed a man to become the yeti, to be a monster to fight with great strength(one could say, reading the runes, thor's strength) for some reason, possibly evolved the creature, but its up for interpretation, especially since it could have so many double meanings. The yeti is Thor who used mjlnor to kill captain America then Odin cursed him with madness which is why he stops through the forest lost and seemingly mad likely with grief which is why he doesn't attack and tries to avoid the hunters a fragment of his old self fighting to hold on but the curse of Odin and his rash anger simply overwhelm him when he's attacked

I only started watching this channel a few hours ago, because of The Isle videos (and that's because of my interest in dinosaurs) but I am determined to watch both The Isle and these to the end tonight. I'm pretty sure he wasn't supposed to get trapped in the rock. In games programming collision detection has several techniques. This is because collision detection happenes every frame. So if something is moving fast enough, that it would move past the point of collision before the next frame (or time of collision detection) it'll phase through it without collision detection taking place. A good example of this is the Morrowind, you can cheat your speed so high you can walk through walls.

The traps are super effective, if you line up a bunch of traps in a row in a bottle neck, he’ll walk through all of them agroed and he’ll die after like 5 or 6 of them. Maybe a couple more. But they are super super effective. You can lay branches over then to hide them as well.

Henry the boogeyman, from what i couls tell the runes could be thurisaz, ansuz, raido, wunjo, mannaz. The corresponding dietys are heimdall, frey, thor, and odin. From what i know about rune casting and what ever else it could be a compass telling what direction is North, East, South, and West. I hope this helps and the "variant" of this ancient language i used is the elder futhark if i am not mistaken.
