A Scenic Springtime Country Drive

Come along for a virtual afternoon springtime drive through Northwestern New Jersey as we view the winding roads, rural countryside and listen to the natural ambient sounds of birds singing and cars traveling along the roadways of the Skylands region of NJ.
This nearly 30 minute scenic driving tour will take us through the backroads and highways of Warren, Sussex and Morris counties. We start in Warren County traveling on Mount Bethel and Rockport Roads in the towns of Port Murray and Mansfield. We continue along Grand Ave and High Street in Hackettstown and Route 517 in Allamuchy. The last leg of this trip takes us onto US Interstate 80 traveling through the towns of Budd Lake, Byram, Flanders, Mount Olive, and exiting the highway in the Ledgewood section of Roxbury Township. I grew up in Byram Township in the 70s and 80s. This is what I remember. Thanks for this trip down memory lane. I've lived most of my adult life in Asia and when I tell people I'm from NJ, they usually say "ugh" and recall images of pollution, oil refineries and urban decay. They just don't get it. New Jersey is beautiful.
