Especially when the hole is wide , you have to inflate the tire with low pressure. After you ride a while you can inflate to higher pressure. The hole seals better if you apply this method .

Why the headlight can't be improved (changed , for a better one) ? And high visibility jacket costs , like $2-3 and weighs less than a ham and cheese sandwich . It was a good day , because it was relatively warm , so fiddling with a tire could be done , without loosing dexterity on the fingers , like it would be , if it was cold (and wet).
