This was profoundly insightful and it put together so many pieces of the Bible I was wondering about, as well as helps me to finally understand the ungodly behaviour I have observed in those calling themselves "Christian" at church. This has been very eye-opening! Thank you so much for drawing out the wisdom of the Bible, God's Word, with such clarity and truth through your sermon! May God bless you and your church.

Christmas is idolatry, look in Luke 1, Christ was not born in December, looking at Luke Chapter 1 give the clue. When Zechariah was doing his duty in the temple the 8th course the course of Abijah. I believe Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit in December, what month comes nine months later, September. I will never celebrate in December again. The statues are false, Nimrod, Samarimis and Tammuz given Christian names. Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus. God forbid! The Jew suffered greatly during this week long ungodly feast. Look up the origin of (Saturnalia). As a Born-again Spiritually Supernaturally child of Almighty God, l will not celebrate this anymore! Philippians 1:20,21. Love not the world, neither the things in the world, if any man loves the world, the love of the Father ( Almighty God) is not in him. I know with all my heart that you love God Almighty, bro. Malcomson!!! God bless you mightily!!! Ezekiel 8:14, "Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat woman weeping for Tammuz (god of flocks).

"A woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives. If she marries another man while her husband lives, she shall be called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she shall be free from that marriage and shall not be called an adulteress, even though she married another man." Rom 7:1-3 The only exception for putting a wife away was "virgin fraud," - Matt 5:32, 19:9; Mark 10:12; Luke 16:18 - "except for PORNEIA" - fornication - before the actual consummation. Just like Joseph was going to put Mary away because he thought she had fornicated before marriage to him. "NO ADULTERESS . . . has any part in the Kingdom of God." Gal 5:19, Eph 5:5, Col 3:5. The Church lost the battle when they allowed divorce and remarriage into the church.

Dear NJH Dreams, I would disagree. Its rather confused what you share. As stated in the actual message "fornication" (porneia), is a broad term according to I Cor.5, and cannot be restricted to a unmarried person. Also Matt 5 etc is dealing with marriage, not betrothal, or a pre-marriage state! Read the context. In other words to divorce and remarry unless it is for fornication (sexual sin), is forbidden. But if fornication (sexual sin) is involved it changes everything, it is then allowed. Sexual unfaithfulness (fornication) is the basis for both divorce and remarriage. Fornication can most certainly be committed against a married partner. God Himself did this with Israel in the OT; on the basis of their unfaithfulness He divorced them. Also your quote from Romans 7 is taking an example from the law (OT), here it is primarily teaching on the law and our relationship to it. Its not a teaching about marriage, but uses a parallel. I would suggest you listen to our two messages on Divorce at the following link www.limerickcitychurch.com/the-marriage-covenant.html

@@LimerickCityChurch I'm not trying to offend. I'm zealous for the truth of the Word of God. 1 Cor 7:10, 11, 39 " Now the Lord commands, a woman is not to divorce her husband. But if she does, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled . . .(why? because . . .) A woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives, but if he dies, she is free to marry again only in the Lord." I divorced my husband and married another man - according to Romans 7:1-4, I was living in ADULTERY. As Gal 5:5, Eph 5: 5,6, Rom 1:28 -" NO ADULTERER HAS ANY PART IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD." I am still married to my first covenant spouse in the eyes of the Lord. My second husband and I separated to be right with God - to obey Scripture. Jesus' allowance for the husband to put away his wife was because of "fornication" - pre marital uncleanness - taken right out of Deut 24:1. The Yahudim (jews) had a year long betrothal and considered the woman his wife, then consummated the vow after a year. If, during that time she was found to be in "porneia" he could put her away - for fornication. Adultery (AFTER MARITAL CONSUMMATION) has NEVER been an excuse to divorce. Jesus commanded, "Anyone who marries a divorced woman is committing adultery." Why? SHE BELONGS TO ANOTHER MAN. Matt 5:32, 19:9; Mark 10:12; Luke 16:18. Present continual tense. Is Limerick Church just like all the others who won't preach the truth because HALF OF THE CONGREGATION are in adulterous remarriages and disobedient to the word of God?

@@njhdreams2415 God does not place an innocent party under bondage. Neither does God consider someone who is divorced and remarried to still be married to their former spouse. In fact to return to their former spouse would be an abomination to God after they have already been married to another person. If someone isn't supposed to return to their former spouse, are they still married? No, the first marriage is over and the spouse is considered defiled by being with another. 1 Corinthians 7:15 - But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace. Deuteronomy 24:1-4 1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. 2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife. 3 And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife; 4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the Lord: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

@@njhdreams2415 You didn't offend, I just disagree with you on the basis of scripture. I believe your view is extreme, unbiblical, ignores or misunderstands Christ's true statement, and infers much. As I already said, try listening to my two messages at the link I sent before attempting to comment. This page here is for responses to message. You give no comment on message. You only promote something close to your own heart. Maybe somewhere else would be better for that. Christ is talking about marriage and in the context of marriage. listen to my messages. The woman in Samaria had had 5 husbands, She had an immoral issue. Christ acknowledge all 5 marriages, not just the first. I can give you a hundred reasons why I dont believe what you are promoting. We uphold holiness, purity, and biblical teaching on this page. But we do not make things narrower than clearly taught by the Word. I appreciate that you are obviously sincere in this but as stated we disagree and this is not the place to promote personal views. Thanks

Pastor Keith, here is a question I’ve been battling to answer biblically: Would you call a habit of online pornography by the “Christian” husband as fornication? Both before the marriage and continuing after the marriage.
