Duck Dodgers was such an underrated show. It was one of my favorites as a kid and I always wished that it got more attention. The writing was so sharp and funny, the show had surprisingly beautiful animation, and it even had great action.

On the topic of Boomerang, can anyone explain why they're airing Codename: Kids Next Door and Fosters Home at 1-3 AM? Why are they putting shows that people would likely want to watch at a time when nobody is awake? You can't tell me you don't have block space when all you're airing all day is Tom and Jerry (not even the old ones, just the mediocore reboot), that Wizard of Oz show, and Wacky Races. Even shows on this service are almost no where to be seen on the channel (no Courage, Lazlo, or Juniper Lee). Not to mention other favorites that aren't featured on either of them (og Teen Titans, og Powerpuff Girls, I'm pretty sure they don't air Johnny Bravo, etc.). The network is suppose to be a rerun channel of sorts but they don't have a ton of the shows people would want to watch.

francisjairam Problem is, some of those are on Hulu. And others can be partially found on CN's On Demand. Considering CN will eventually want to become a streaming service itself, given it's current strategies, it'll be confusing which of their old originals stick with them.

As a 2000s kid, here's the types of shows I'd most like to see from a CN streaming service: Chowder, Foster's Home, Billy & Mandy, Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, Kids Next Door, Original PPG & TT, Ed Edd n Eddy, Flapjack, and eventually add Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe, and Gumball since they're newer.

Maybe it’s aimed at people who have a basic cable package or no cable at all, which is a demographic that’s probably increasing with all of the streaming services, who miss having access to the kinds of shows that boomerang used to play? 3.99 per month is much cheaper than buying a bigger cable package. Otherwise I don’t know, and I still don’t think it’s worth it tbh.

I am subscribed to Boomerang, and honestly it's so amazing, really worth subscribing to. Growing up I loved Looney Tunes, so it was very cool to see the old cartoons and the newer ones. That's really the reason I subscribed, I basically watch it every day. I also really love that some shows (Camp Lazlo, Baby Looney Tunes, etc...) have been remastered to fit today's screens. I would love to see more shows on the platform though. One of my biggest wishes is Dexter's Laboratory. And in my opinion, the price is incredible. $5 dollars for a 1 month or $40 dollars for 1 year, it's very reasonable for a streaming service. All-in-all, the service is really good for what it is.

The classic cartoons are what I want from this app! Thanks for the toonzone list! Never saw it before this. Funny thing is you cared about titans and kids next door. Me? I was jumping for joy over yogi's treasure hunt, captain caveman, muttley and their flying machines, mgm cartoons (tex avery!), josie and the pussycats and others! Fine with 90s stuff also in fact I requested taz mania two weeks ago. (they do take show requests on their website) Also requested 80s pac-man, yogi's treasure hunt and the dukes cartoon but no pac-man or dukes on that list. Sigh. I do wish we would get a "master list" of all shows on the app also.

Your complaints about the app are precisely why I LIKE the app. I'm 23, but I'm more into classic cartoons. Looney Tunes, Scooby-Doo, Huckleberry Hound, Flintstones, etc., are PRECISELY what I would WANT to spend hours watching. I would watch Courage and Camp Lazlo sometimes, but the classics are what I would WANT to watch. The only reason I don't have the app, is because right now, money is tight, and $40 a year is a bit much. But if I had the money, you bet your ass I would have it!

Sonicgirl7467 well even before the rebranded they had some cartoon Network shows that were on Boomerang that were still on CN at time, like Fosters and those Wedges shorts and etc. Then a while before the rebrand, they aired Gumball and TTG. Then after the rebrand they had aired KND, Fosters, Billy and Mandy, and now they started airing Flapjack and Regular Show.

I know CN has some of their older shows on Hulu like PPG, so maybe that's why they aren't on the service? I'd be down for CN having a service with ALL of their content, like if they combined the Boomerang Streaming Service and the CN app. That way we'd have access to all the shows and we could updates on current shows as they air. They could even add the pilots and shorts. It's be especially successful if they offered it all globally cuz a lot of people who watch stuff illegally don't have regional access to some shows on streaming sites. I could see it being pretty successful if they kept the price low.

No, they need more classics. Cartoon Cartoons is great, but it belongs on Cartoon Network. When i was a kid i'd sleep with the tv on and always have the channel on boomerang because i knew that no matter when i woke up there'd be something on that i enjoyed. Currently they have, Dexters Lab, Fosters, Billy and Mandy, The Misadventures of Flapjack, KND, Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Steven Universe. I think it needs a lot more content, starting with much of Hanna-Barbera's more old-school enjoyable shows like Josie, The Funky Phantom, Speed Buggy, Banana Splits, and Super Friends. I'm actually surprised that out of their Scooby fare, they don't have The Scooby-Doo Show up. The Flintstones is a bit messed up; if they're going to allow subscribers to watch the show, they should include all 6 seasons rather than season 1. As for new stuff, they should include more Cartoon Cartoons in there, like Johnny Bravo, The Powerpuff Girls, and maybe even Time Squad. And one final thought: despite them airing The Garfield Show sporadically, they should release that show onto their service because you can't seem to watch it anywhere else other than TV.

At the time of recording this video not all the Flintstones episodes were available. As of now all Flintstones and Jetsons are up. That's how the Boomerang app works. They don't post all the episodes up at once.

Hulu probably have exclusive streaming rights to 90s and early 2000s CN shows, which is probably why they aren't here. For example, the only shows Boomerang has are Courage, Juniper Lee, Lazlo, and My Gym Partner's a Monkey and those aren't on Hulu.

Well, it's nearly a year later and while they added Codename Kids Next Door, there's already a prediction that the Boomerang (and possibly DC Universe) streaming service will get folded when WarnerMedia's upcoming streaming service is fully out by 2020. But hey, now that Warner can get all their shows back from Netflix & Hulu by the end of 2019, it now means we can get to see all the CN/Adult Swim shows there, this time under a service that matters.

It's like they missed the whole point of Boomerang. Instead of just having the same ancient shows, wait until old CN shows are nostalgic, i.e. Ed, Edd, and Eddy, then premiere it on Boomerang, start with s1e1. It'll be just like all the og fans get to relive their childhood of watching week after week.
