the option to take a pregnancy test only comes up when you've tried for baby or risky woohooed, it doesnt automatically mean shes pregnant. to get toddlers thinking skill up you can either have them ask what things around the house are (I use a large bear doll, as it lets you get their communication skill up as well) get a parent to help with flash cards, or buy some blocks to help with their motor and thinking. independent toddlers like being alone, and they can use the potty all by themselves.

When you teach toddlers animals, that brings up their communication skill. If you want to bring up the thinking skill, choose the interaction with the blocks logo

I guess that activities like playing cards can help a sim to make friends with others very easy in Sims 4. That's probably the reason why Catherine has so many friends already while Nicolas has none so far

You seemed so happy in the episode! Lol Noteable things you do: press the m key, call someone a queen, and funny accents. I love them all. Would like to mention that I see symbols next to the flashcards options and I think the symbol next to teach animals is communications while the symbol next to teach basic needs is thinking. Maybe look for that symbol to find things for thinking? And I bet Nick is having trouble because of the type of interactions he's doing, probably less card games and actually talking to the other people, like I noticed in this episode you actually had Catherine talk to her buddies but I don't know if Nick was. But it is a fun character trait either way! I'm so scared about the dice roll for the next episode, fingers crossed
