It's remarkable to see how Master Gu manages to keep the tradition alive with a look to the future: his English is surprising and he has online courses. It would be crazy to think something like this even just 20 years ago! The world runs fast

What a beautiful place to live , my heart aches to be amongst the mountains and woods.....lived in London too damn long and it’s suffocating me almost took my life so many times lost count , made path addiction easier for me to stumble upon, pollutes my lungs the anger and aggression. And I managed to get clean and find peace I’m myself .....!!!! I can only imaging the leaps I would make in a spiritual set up, amongst nature and ppl of truth and knowledge.

Two years ago, when I first "met" you and Master Gu, my heart sent out a deep wish to the universe- that somehow, I would be able to study with him. Each of your productions has felt like the universe is smiling as it keeps fulfilling my heart's requests. So many of us have wished for these teachings from the deepest place within our hearts- and you and Master Gu have listened. Deepest gratitude 🙏

Having just found your channel George, and following your journey, how happy I felt to see you in the chair again! And to hear the happiness in your voice! The call was strong to get back to Master Gu's place, and I can totally see why, it appears a heavenly place, full of learning and peace. You have found your calling in life I think, and I feel honoured to have been allowed to share in your journey. Thank you, and here's to all your exercises I can follow in the future! I practiced the Short Form briefly 25 yrs ago, and after forgetting it I am excited you have given me the idea to learn it again. Nothing happens by chance! 💖 😄 🌲 💖

Every new video is like the witnessing the sun rising in the morning. George, thanks to you and many others over time, I have begun to wiggle out of the grips of nihilism and experience connectedness in ways that had gone unnoticed during my dizzying, disoriented depression. There is a harmony out there. Here. I hear it now! I hope that by sharing this you can breathe in this message and perhaps be reminded again of how extraordinary your cause is-that is, the rippling effect it has. Many ears around the world, including myself, are molded and changed by your reflections, shares of wisdom, and demonstrated actions. I appreciate your hard work as always, and I very much look forward to the videos to come

So I was literally about to send you a message to say I would love to see more martial arts videos from you when I saw this. Personally I find martial arts to be one of the best ways to connect with the dao. Sparring in particular helps get you into a flow state, as in a spar you quickly find yourself in a situation where you have to act faster than you can think, relying on instinct. It is very similar to practicing music the way Master Gu does. Also, learning a little bit about Yin style tai chi was fascinating. The dragon stance Master Gu demonstrated reminded me a bit of a Northern Mantis stance where one hand is held low to defend the legs and core and the other held high to strike and defend the head. I appreciated this and I'm looking forward to more videos!

As a Taoist Monk of 51 years...What I am sure of is...Embrace what feeds your Heart...Spirit...Soul. There are many styles...many masters...many many things. But...you will know what's right for you. You will immediately feel it...know it...if you pay attention. An immediate...instant connection. And...you're NEVER wrong. Master Gu exudes the Spirit of Tao. The Man...The Myth...The Legend...indeed.
