God gave man a covenant originally to the Jewish people. The sacrifice of Yahshua has now become the blood of the covenant thus making an old covenant new. 2 Timothy 2:19 I was thinking 🤔 the same thing....He said that he was to be baptized by an Episcopal priest and from my understanding their beliefs is similar to that of the Catholic which states that as long as you were a “good” person and did “good deeds” you will go to heaven and you don’t necessarily have to believe in Jesus. And they are those who think, even if they don’t go to heaven, they’ll go to purgatory which will give them a second chance to earn their way into heaven. All of which are untrue and unbiblical, for Jesus himself said in the gospels, I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE and no one enters the kingdom, but through me. He also said you have not the father if you have not the son, so it saddens me to say that it appears his dad is not with God the Father if he did not believe in God the Son which is Christ Jesus. And the reason for this is the lie that many people are told that you can earn your way to heaven. This lie has people like Mr. Klaven become passive about reaching the lost. I think had Mr Klaven belonged to a Baptist Church he might have been more Ernest about giving the gospel to his dad as he would have been thought that there is only one way to God, which is through Christ Jesus and once we’re dead, there are no second chances.

What good does Jesus really do? After 45 years of misfortune and failure why should I even care?

Me to, exept im 38. My life was hell, i was a criminal drug addict, in and out of prison. Jesus saved me and changed me. He is the only one who can save. We are all sinners and we need the Savior. If you accept Him into your heart your life will change and you will see clearly for the first time in your life. We all have this "veil" before our eyes and we cant see what is in front of us, what is really happening around us in this world. I guaranty you this, if you accept Him you will see things you didnt see before. I pray and hope you will seek Jesus, that He will touch your heart. God bless you in Jesus name. By the way Jesus loves you very very much, more then we can ever Imagine.

Because the time we spend here, the trials we endure, are nothing compared to what is coming. Be it an eternity in Heaven, or an eternity of torture and despair...it is an eternity. Failure hurts and it really sucks some days, but turn your life over to Jesus Christmas completely and no matter how ugly things get here, it's only temporary... you'll have an eternity of joy with Him in heaven.

HI That sound like replacement Theology! Andrew Klavan needs to reject the false religion of Judaism, BUT NOT BEING A JEW!!! Christians need to reject the false Roman Catholic pagan Gregorian calendar with all its idolatrous feasts, and start keeping the Lord's feasts on HIS OWN calendar which He is fulfilling! Maybe the Jews want to identify as such when they become a Christian. Of course the doctrine is different. But the Jewish people have such a beautiful, rich history..
