As I pray for Israel during this first week of war with Hamas, I feel confusion about how to pray. To hear this man’s testimony convinces me that my prayer must always be for the salvation of each Jew and for the salvation of each Arab. Only in Christ is there ever going to be peace! I am so encouraged to hear how he changed your heart Tamar, and I am praying for that work to be multiplied even in the middle of war!

Yes, We hate persecution and suffering yet the gospel is spread most in these times. ❤ praying with you for the Jews to know Jesus as Messiah and for our Arab friends and even our perceived enemies (Hamas, isis etc) to surrender to Jesus as Lord and Savior of their lives. Then we will have peace.

Matt 22:34-40 brings so much of the Bible all together. Jesus answered a Pharisee, who was testing Jesus, asked Him what is the greatest commandment. In answering him, Jesus quoted Deut 6:5 and Lev 19:18. In commentary, Jesus finished His answer with "All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." An earlier verse in Matt 5:17, Jesus tells us, "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill." Jesus offered Himself to be the sacrificed Lamb by whose blood we can all be saved from all our sins. We should seek to be imitators of Jesus Christ and not using the salvation He provides to be an excuse for intentional sin.
