This is such an excellent video on DA roses. I love the comments on putting the rabbits at bay. They are such a nuisance for gardeners. Also, hilarious comment on royalty. My favorite thing about DA roses is the scent, especially the ones with a strong myrrh fragrance.

I’m thrilled when I find your video! Thank you so much for your excellent description of David Austin roses! David Austin roses brought back my childhood memory of the rose garden in different ways as you commented on DA characters to the others. My DA roses are still thriving with lots of buds and flowers in zone 6a since I planted in April. They look so beautiful while the rest of perennials were pruning for winter coming.

Loved your video and your frank discussion about the various DA rose specimens you featured. Keep them coming! (Maybe do one on pruning.) Looking forward to more!

I have the Distant Drum rose and do find it really easy to use in bouquets. It also has terrific foliage and health.

It does have wicked thorns though.

❤❤❤hugeee....blooms😊l think the climate of Santa Cruz at 800ft of elevation is just perfect for growing David Austin's roses similar to its native England's weather😊❤ Beautiful!

Hello! I am delighted with your videos. So much optimism and love for roses! Thanks for this! What David Austin varieties can you recommend for a flower farm to use roses for bouquets? Which ones do you love and which ones last the longest when cut?

Wonderful descriptive video. As a DA rose grower myself, I agree with everything in this video. My profile picture is Carding Mill.

Good evening from Germany, though not my native country. I wanted to watch something, anything that relax me while I am having dinner and youtube brought you(r channel) before me and well, I opted for; and I was quite captivated by you(r nature). After dinner was over, I decided to browse in your channel. Interesting. Exactly my kind of interests. I am very pleased I have decided to dinner with you. ☺

@@ucscagroecology Well, I too am sometimes surprised (wow! 🙄) when someone not only notices the particular qualities I possess, but also expresses them out loud, just as I love to do too. Makes the world feel greater knowing that there are still some sensitive people out there.. 🤧☺ Good thoughts must always be expressed. 😉 Have a great time!

Thanks so much for this beautiful video. I liked very much the combination of roses and other plants. There is a violet plant at the foot on some of your roses. What is its name please?

Bought my first DA rise abd planted this past early Spring. It’s doing absolutely nothing. It was blooming at the nursery but since planting not one new bud. It’s now September so I stopped fertilizing. Is this normal? 😢. I am in Zone 6b
