I spent a few days on the island of Siargao in the Philippines, traveling to its smaller surrounding islands. This is a glimpse into the local life outside the surfing scene.

What separates Brandon from all the other filmmakers I follow is that he doesn’t do super fast moving images, filled with transition sounds and some fast dance music in the background. This video gave me goosebumps because I felt as If I was taken on a journey through Brandon’s eyes. Great work my friend! Keep it up!

I love the way you portray how quiet and tranquil the island is with absolutely no white noise from vehicles other than sounds of nature. Reminds me of the Gili Islands (my favorite destination) next to Bali. I was planning to go on a vacation to Siargao last summer but decided not to due to the whole ISIS situation in Mindanao. I guess the island's a lot safer than I expected. Beautiful and amazing video! Love your creations and tutorials!

Brandon I think you did a fantastic job. It is a moving work of art as with many of your other vacation short film with beautiful scenery. This especially took me back and reminded me of when I was a child particularly the shot of which you included where the young boys playing at the bottom edge of the bank to catch the water wave as it rushes towards them while holding on to each other. I often played along those similar banks when I was a child in the Philippines. I loved and enjoyed every seen you did. I lived and experience many of your scene. I have to tell you this certainly moved me. Thank you so much for sharing your vacation on video. This is one of my favorite video and will be shared in my Facebook. And oh by the way great editing!
