At first, I didn't think I'd like this technique, but I really like the results! The use of the marker gave even better results than the bleach, and I really like the added control it allowed. The white embossing really popped on the design, but it made wonder how copper (your fave!) would look. Would it blend in too much or add an even stronger vintage feel?
@TxStampinSharon4 жыл бұрын
Oh My! I didn't try Copper! I guess I stuck with White emboss because of the chalk marker! You have inspired me to do something different! Take care Denise!

It's always fun learning a new way to do an old technique! As I watched you use the marker, I wondered if the craft white ink refill would also work, and maybe even a combination of the two, depending on how washed out of how heavy you want the white to look. Thanks, Sharon!
@TxStampinSharon4 жыл бұрын
Oh I did not think about the craft white ink refill! This was a fun one to play with for sure! You are very welcome Sharon!

AWESOME CARDS, Sharon! I LOVE IT!! (I’m NOT too young not to know what Sepia is!! Haha!) Sure do appreciate the tips throughout n’ the lovely results! So, so pretty! I think the hardest part is the “drying wait time”!! :-) The chalk marker sure seemed so much easier than bleach n’ aqua pen! The white embossing is really cool, too! I was amazed at the two different colors that emerged with the Water Color paper!! WOW! Do wonder if the “blue sample” would work on a soft blue card base, tho’!! Hhhhmmmm???!!! This is a “definite” must try! :-))). TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! Hope you are safe n’ well! Take care n’ HUGS from Madison, WI! :-)

Oh and I think the bleach is reacting with the pigment in the ink, but I'm not sure how that would make blue. The dark brown has yellow in the base. Hmmm.
