Chamber main here 1. Personally, I recommend that your pistol round buy should be 5 bullets and 2 traps. Those traps are very very useful both on attack on defense, even when it didn't go off because it got shot. For the 5 bullets, not only you have a guaranteed one tap kill even vs light armor, but when you die you also transfer your bullet count over to the next round (unless you shot it all, and possibly missed or killed a few), making you able to fight even if you lose first round and decided to full eco the following round. 2. Despite the name says "headhunter" you shouldn't stress yourself over one taps. Trust your gun more, and if you ran out of bullets mid-combat just press Q and spam 3 shots as it is very accurate. 3. NEVER rely too much on your tp to make risky plays on defense and even on attack, as you can see there is a small time frame where you can get shot and take damage, worse even killed. As a sentinel your utility is highly valuable. 4. Don't stress over hiding your traps either. Sure, it delays the flanker or attackers from pushing if it does go off, but much like every other sentinel trap it tells you if it gets shot. This is an intel in of itself. Relay this to your team as much as possible through your mic as no one would constantly look both at the radar and at the center of their screen. 5. Everything others gave as tips for using the operator also applies for his ultimate. Practice slow peeking angles one by one, counter-strafe, shoot. The ability alone may last only a single round, but it's impact over the economy is high. Imagine spending at minimum 400 or 1000 for armor and you got a gun for free after killing them with the ult. Additional tip for ult: use your Q if they close the gap on you or buy an extra gun just in case. Do I recommend maining Chamber? Yes. Is he meta right now? In the meta, he offers slightly different things in comparison to other sentinels, and imo Killjoy is still the one that is easier to use due to her area denial, crowd control, and intel. Economic impact with Chamber comes with a legitimate risk of having precise aim but he isn't entirely much of a "do or die" agent like Reyna either.

Whenever your holding an angle you should always move your crosshair back and forward between two points(doesnt have to be far away, head height to body height), this stops your brain from going to 'sleep' when you are staring at the same position

This is going to be extremely helpful to me. I'm already a decent Yoru, but I'm pretty much just a one-trick. Teleports are my best tool so hes working well for me, but some more tips and tricks from higher elos will save me.

Hey Mr lowlander I have a tip for you: When playing chamber put one tp in spawn at the beginning of the round then put the other one in bind lamps for example and then tp to spawn. That way you can save a lot or time when preparing for the round

btw, on split one of my favorite defense setups on A is putting one tp in heaven, one on site near elbow, and putting a trademark in hell. the amount of kills ive gotten due to people not seeing the trademark and being slowed by it is great. you just peek that diagonal angle and if you’re in trouble, you just tp back up to heaven and try that different angle. (also, since nobody expects it there, if someone is rotating on limited time, it may be the deciding factor on if you win the round or not. ive had neons think they can make it in time when suddenly they’re slowed down)

Also if you get surprised by an enemy like at 10:08 your Q has a really fast draw time so it's better to use than pulling out a Vandal or Phantom.

As a Chamber Main When your mid animation of the tp you CAN still get shot thats why you need to kill the enemy as fast as possible and the q ability is very fast thats why when you have op and you miss the shot instantly press q for a kill or tp and also the traps can get used when a yoru clone gets in the radius of the traps and use the ult when your saving (like Jett knives and shield) and also buy a marshal in round 2 bc hes tp+marshal is very good and lastly hes a must pick in every map

Something I like to do on attack sometimes is buying 5 bullets and both traps. That way you can easily cover flank and you have a good weapon. Also, the most important tip for defense is playing off of your traps. Literally so strong.
