Hi, again, pal. Sadly, David Soul passed away last year 😔; R.I.P. Starsky & Hutch's car was a 1975 Ford Grand Torino; ¡what a car! I always wanted a poster of the series to put on my bedroom wall; any memorabilia, of course toys. Starsky & Hutch was a hit all over the world, in fact, here in Monterrey, Mexico, 2 girls at that time formed a fan club and recreated the episodes; A local newspaper did a report on them approximately 10 years ago.Good this edition and greetings. 5-4

1:47 My older brother had the dashboard! He got it for Christmas back in '77 and we both played with it a lot over the years. I especially remember the hand-crank siren (not a bullhorn- Junkman!) because it used to drive my mom nuts if we used it in the house, and she kept having to take it away... I don't remember a sticker on the horn- and I never knew it was from _Starsky and Hutch_- otherwise I definitely remember this growing up!

In 1980 you could have bought the full Mego line for $1 each at Toys r us. I had almost all of the figures. They had really well done outfits

Never had the toys, and my mom was shocked to hear foul language as an adult.

My mom was really uptight, too. :) As Catholic and as super religious she was, it's a wonder she didn't succumb to the Satanic panic or anything like that. :)

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a whole episode of Starsky & Hutch, but I like those actors in other stuff I’ve seen them in.

My dad was a fan of the show when it was first on... My older brother had a bunch of the toys (including the dashboard) and some View-Master reels if I remember correctly.

@ I’ll see if my brother has the DVDs. I remember I did have a Dukes of Hazzard t-shirt when I was about 3. My dad liked Columbo.

Both 'Starsky and Hutch' and 'Kojak' was really popular on prime time T.V. in the UK on BBC TV in the 70's, Incidentally Paul Michael Glaser and Antonio Fargas made guest appearances in 'Kojak' episodes also.

I had that car in the thumbnail with the twist on light. I also had that Corgi die-cast car. It always bugged me that the stripe didn't go all the way over the front tire!

Junk man comma have you ever seen the music video by a band called The Barenaked ladies where the General Lee and the Starsky and Hutch car are chasing each other around in it? It came out in the late 90s early 2000s.

Yep. Forgot all about that.

@8:45, I think "vu a la tv" is French for "as seen on tv." My French is weak. I only took 1 year in high school almost 30 years ago.

This made me think if you ever did an episode about cap guns. Kids don’t seem to play with them anymore I guess because they have real guns now? But I still have a couple of those little keychain cap guns. Me and my brother used to have so much fun shooting each other with them
