Once upon a time there was a pretty little girl, who always got her way. One day she actually did something nice for her mother dearest, and ended up catching an enchanted fish! The fish talked (gasp!) and begged the girl not to eat it, but she of course does, and, much to her doting parents' lament, TURNS INTO A FISH. Quickly she finds the water, without so much as a thought to her previous life or her poor old parents. All of a sudden in the span of a day, which feels like months, honestly, she accepts a quest from a slighted queen to restore her crown, and in the process, changes into so many different animals! She also ends up meeting a prince, go figure, but she's in deer form when this happens, so it's super strange that he falls for her? Anyway, fairytales... what are you going to do? Anyway, without giving away too much, join me for tonight's travails in this classic French fairy tale by Madame d'Aulnoy, "The Girl-Fish." It is read in a soft voice and set to some light and soft background music. I do hope you enjoy the this evening's quiet, calming, shapeshifting fairytale story!

What happened to the girl's parents who would be so sad if they lost their daughter? Best ending is she married the prince and send for her parents who have long missed her and now see what a fine young woman she's grown up to be. Very interesting story, thank you for reading to us 😊

Fun fact: mythologist think that when sailors fell out the ships they saw the sea potatoes (Manatees) and thought they saw a mermaid. Now imagine the little mermaid with that in mind.

Female reindeer actually have antlers. Small ones. Thermal be one other type of deer that the female has antlers, though I don't remember. Still, I would specify if I were telling the fairy tale (or transcribing it,, as the case may be).
