I don't know how to explain this, but your videos give me a true wonder of the world. It's both so mundane and awesome, in the most literal sense of inspiring awe. A simple ghost town has its story to tell, lives that started and ended there, a history as important to the locals as the history of large cities is for them. It gives a great appreciation of the world.

I agree. The way these videos are presented seem very classic in their approach, for a lack of a better word. It's very inspiring and encourages the idea of exploring the hidden parts of the world. It can be all too easy to lose that sense of wonder and curiosity in the shadow of life's daily grind.

If it was me piloting that underwater drone, I would definitely try to do a 50 or so foot squared sweep of the area outside of each side of the wreck. Also seems like it would be worth taking out, I would probably be willing to take the unpleasant trudged out there--or possibly light swim out there lol--to get it or other parts. Like always, a very interesting video stuff I wish I could do. With properly identified speculation as opposed to facts, just like things should be. Pure quality.

Another smashing little documentary, well edited with non intrusive music combined with a great style of presentation that's packed with interesting information. You come across as being well spoken without sounding stuffy, I really enjoy your videos be it about ghost towns or nautical topics. I'm British, we have a wealth of history over here but I have a passion for north American history, your nation grew at an unprecedented rate in the 19th century leading to limitless sites of great interest. I'd love to see you do an in depth video covering the events leading up to as well as the aftermath of the Norfolk disaster, that was a colossal explosion by every metric and could so easily have been averted. Anyway it's great to see that this channel is growing quite quickly, I've been subscribed since you were on 180K and that wasn't ll that long ago.🙂

@sirboomsalot4902 Жыл бұрын
Heck, with 330 feet he could reach Andrea Doria and even Lusitania (it would be pushing it though). They also have a version which can go like 490 feet deep, which is in the territory of the Britannic.

@@sirboomsalot4902 Even with 330, if the seafloor is 400ft and Britannic is 94ft wide, the 330ft cable would still touch the hull, and definitely at least have a clear view of the ship from overhead.

In the 1970s across from Shore Rd. (down below Fairbanks St.) and near one of the pylons of the bridge there was a large wreck, a steel/iron hulled ship, I seem to remember the hull as black and the number 572 was painted on her side...I have a slide of it somewhere, I'm sure. It wasn't the SS Daisy, that was used later for infill. I don't know when it disappeared, after I left the City.
