A simple walk into the woods of Vermont to check on a cabin (a tiny house build by a friend) that we hadn't seen in a few years. Deeks I see this as a getaway cabin. Someplace to cast out your demons and to get refreshed. I don't see it as a very practical place to live for an extended period of time. Now that is not a negative reflection. I am too much plugged into a lot of modern convivences to live that simple. Maybe getting close to 70 has turned my mind in a different direction. I know a lot of people are opting out for those solar battery back-up power supplies/generators but the initial outlay is just not practical for a lot of people. Being Off-grid may not be the most cost effective solution.

I think it all depends on what you need and what you consider or desire as comforts. This IS close to a very cool town that has lots to offer, so that is certainly one perk/bonus. Thanks for checking the video out!

What is all the background noise? Sounds like this is in the woods behind an interstate rest stop? Or maybe it was just windy?

There is a route/road somewhat nearby and occasionally if the wind is in your direction you'll hear a logging truck pass
