Thanks Mike! Yeah, that was cutting it close lol. Glad I could at least stave off that skunk. Hoping for more time, better numbers and bigger fish next time out. But always nice just to be able to get out. Thanks again, Mike!

That one catch always gives some sense of accomplishment. Trying to fish on a short schedule, is like trying to make that last cast, it always gets stretched out, Hahaha.

Haha for sure Russell. Thanks brother!

Was a beautiful colored fish, and a nice looking spot. Weather is hard to predict this time of the year. I like the new leads, they should work fine. I am using 85 g inlines with boilies most of the time, but depends on what the fish are used to as bait i guess. Nice Video.

Any day out on the water is a good day and hooking into even one fish is always “magical”. Speaking for myself since I haven’t been able to hook into much of anything lately but still feel like every trip is worth the effort. Surprised you didn’t hook into more with that tournament happening the week before but maybe they were so pressured they headed back to the lake. Still…. No skunk is always good enough for me. Lucky you set up the Bivy.

Haha for sure. Never trust the weather forecast! Yeah, not sure what happened to the fish but they probably did head back out after all the pressure. An no skunk is always better than a skunk and I got to enjoy a beautiful day outdoors 😊. Thanks Don!

You should come to the Lil show before the tournament starts at the Ed French Open
@AmericanCarpAngler3 ай бұрын
I didn't know there was a show. My buddy fished it this year, and I think his team placed 6th. I was gonna stop down and visit but got busy with other stuff.

im a firm believer american carp dont like that fancy European bait. ive wasted a lot of money on boilies to only go back to panko or oats and jello
@AmericanCarpAngler3 ай бұрын
Yeah, I believe that too. I've seen some guys from Europe come over here and fish tournaments with just boilies for hook bait and baiting bait and just about get skunked, next to guys fishing pack back and catching fish. Thanks brother

Check again, I accidentally sent it to myself 😂😂

Less chance a carp will spit the hook before hooking them in the mouth
