A Short Summary | Hurricane Allen

I was serving on board HMS GLASGOW. We spent weeks doing disaster relief after hurricane Allen crossed over the island of st Lucia. We spent weeks rehousing repairing hospitals feeding 1000,s of people. And helping to get the island back on its feet. It was sad to leave but I returned on another ship a few years later and met people we had helped in 1980. Certainly an amazing life’s memory.
