I sewed my own replacement seat covers so I could get the original style pleat. Once you open up the covers you can see they sewed the pleats with an "extra" seam hence giving it a "puffer" look. It was fairly easy to replicate once you see it.

Wish there was a way to take those door pocket liners out without ruining them, I would love to have those. Would also love to have the old original liner behind the seats. Thanks for posting, I own a 59 Bugeye & love it
