A short trip onboard Busways North West m/o 2902 (Scania K310UB - Custom CB80)

And on yet another trip onboard 2902, I am back on the 259 in commemoration of it's short-lived history. Introduced in May 2018 as a replacement for when the 545 was curtailed from Chatswood to Macquarie Park, the 259 has provided the residents of Fontenoy Road a valuable (and mostly reliable) link to the rest of Sydney. However with the opening of the Metro extension to Sydenham and the ongoing driver shortage in Region 7, the axing of the route just after its 6th birthday is intended to improve overall network reliability.
This would be the third time I took a trip onboard Busways 2902. Unfortunately, being a night time journey there isn't much of a view, but with a power output of 310 hp these vehicles do sound quite nice.
