I hear a LOT of artists say that gaming conventions don't go well for them unless they have specific gaming merchandise. Don't feel bad! Greta job staying positive through a scary experience! A slow con high expenses can be very anxiety inducing. 😖

It was so nice meeting you! Thank you so much for making the trip down and the well wishes for us locals and Floridians. If you are looking into doing prints, I know 5 x 7"s are a good size for smaller/postcard size and are easier for self-serve and probably for starting off (they are also a good size for sticker sheets if you're inclined to try those out), but standard (8.5 x 11") and legal size (11 x 17") are also perfectly acceptable with legal being a little more common. That being said, I'm glad you broke even! If you feel like trying out a different event at the GWCC, there are quite a few other fan-culture events held there, but Florida in general is also a large hub for conventions

Thanks for the advice! I'm actually going to MegaCon next February, so I know I'm doing a Florida con soon! It'll be nice to have some slightly warmer weather while its the dead of winter up North here!

It seems Dreamhack did not go well for a lot of artists, especially with that cost of $650 for a table, ouch! I'm glad you were able to break even at least. Looking forward to the next video ❤

@@MYNTHSHOP I don't think they've sent out acceptances yet. I'm in a few AA discord servers that are always on top of acceptance/waitlist/rejection periods for the more well-known cons and no one has mentioned it yet.
