GREAT VIDEO! I showed it to my 9th grade world history class in Southern New Jersey. They were locked in watching. They loved the school visit, beach, food etc... It's a great way for me to bring modern Africa into the classroom that 14 year old's are interested in. Too often the American news and commercials only show them conflict and poverty in Africa. This was a great way for them to see the positive and economically growing side of Africa. Thank you!

Eniola Bakare, South Africa have some very good things going on. But do not be carried away by some images you see on youtube.. The white folks with black labor and SA resources built some very beautiful cities for themselves. After the blacks took over in 1994, those cities have been decaying rapidly. The whites moved to other areas that are nicer and much safer, and there is where the corrupt black leadership lives also. In Johannesburg you have Sandton, In Pretoria you have East Pretoria, In Durban you have Umnlanga, and that is the way all over the country. The only cities that still look nice like in the apartheid days are in the Western Cape, and that is because a lot of white folks live there, and they control the municipalities. Nigeria has only one half decent looking city which is the capital city Abuja, for the rest of Nigerian cities to look like Cape Town, it will take a miracle.

@@chocon8818 we actually have a lot of development projects going on that a lot of people don't know about because good news about Nigeria isn't shown on main stream media such as eko atlantic, ocean city lagos and centenary city abuja. Eko atlantic and ocean city will be a extension of lagos where sky scrapers and high rise building are going to be built as well business districts and leisure districts within does two cities to boost the economy and centenary city they want to build the tallest skyscraper in West Africa but the projects are moving slow but gradual because they are all privately funded projects by investors investing in Nigeria that rhe only thing moving Nigeria forward right now the private investment we receive from investors the only thing this failed government been headed by buhari as done so for far was fund the large part of the new metro system been constructed in lagos to help ease transportation within the city called the lagos red and blue line and even there some of funds are from private investors. A lot of projects in Nigeria right now are either from private investment or Nigerians start and funding whole projects by themselves like dangote and the dangote oil refinery so this failed government doesn't let us get left behind amd the saddest but of the whole thing is that Nigeria is not even a poor country we have enough money to really make our cities look more morden and clean but it is decades of neglect and mismanagement even when we do get a government that does something that left lagos looking like it as never left the 1980's when I go to other African countries like angola and see their capital city or even Namibia I get embarrassed that lagos for it economical power in West Africa and in Nigeria still looks the way it does for a city of that size and importance but anyways their is hope for Nigerians this decade with peter obi and the 2023 election as I said before the guy done so much with the very little resources he had when he was state governor for a state in Nigeria called anambra state and he the only credible candidate the other two running for major parties is a old man who is missing certificates to show he was educated in Nigeria but he as one showing he went to university in America and other is a desperate man who as been running to be the president of Nigeria since the 90's and that should sum why Nigeria is where it is now if our two major parties can only produce a desperate man and old man missing certificates and with alligation of been a drug smuggler when he was younger in 20's to be their flage bearer and presidential candidates to be honest I have lost all hope for 90% of Nigerian politicians the Nigeria political system need restructuring so we don't produce crooks, lier and criminals for politicians and I pray that should be one of the first thing peter obi should do when he comes into to power restructuring Nigeria political system so we don't produce shit politicians and shit presidential candidates with no other better options for people to vote for.

Durban ia like that, Im from Joburg and historically Zulu moved to Durban and have discovered that Zulus here are very defensive at first until they get to know you. Ive spoken to a number of people here about that and they do admit it. In Joburg townships you can sttike a conversation with a total stranger laugh get off the bus and never meet again. Different cultures.
@lashame1
@lashame1 Жыл бұрын
You can't just be friendly to strangers. The cities are known for scams. If you just laugh you might be a victim of someone making you withdraw money and giving you a long wait to come back with an iPhone that will never arrive. Students get told when they come to the city that don't talk to strangers. Nowadays I do talk to strangers but I am still very cautious. The conversations are usually short. If someone just says hi and I look but I don't recognize the face I probably have never seen that person and I should ignore and walk faster.

Nigerians always go to Dubai and Europe for holidays when a beautiful country like South Africa is within the continent. It is time we set our priorities right. South African government would have to fix the security issues first for things to change for Africans who would like to visit.

You almost have 500k subscribers congratulations I am pride of you but I believe making a dope video on Kongo where most African youtuber failed will definitely make you hit 1 million subscribers cause no one really goes to Kongo but if somehow you manage to show Kongo in a nice way it will bring you more viewers cause they never seen what was done before. Everyone want to be in Rwanda cause it look nice , don't be like every youtuber wanting to show Rwanda be unique and show what was never shown cause unique brings greatness

You will be surprised that there are many Nigerias in South Africa than you can ever think. When you walk the streets, nobody care who you are, where you from and what are you doing. I don't blame you. Social media can make you really scared, of which it's not the case once you touch down.

What that guide said about Gandhi is rubbish. He did not go there to fight against apartheid. Apartheid was started in 1948 after Gandhi was shot in India. He was also a terrible racist. He called black people the k word.
