OUR STORY:
We're Tal & Mads - a Nurse & Teacher couple from Toronto, Canada who fell in love while traveling the world together. When we adopted our dog Bowie, we decided the best way to continue traveling would be in our self built camper van, Billie. We hit the road in January 2022 and drove all the way through the United States and into Mexico. We thought creating vlogs would be a great way to keep our friends and family updated while being a wonderful memento of our travels. And now, here we are sharing anything and everything that we think will make you smile.

I love you guys! I am a RN 23 yrs in Bay Area, and when in my thirties I also traveled as a travel nurse across the states! What an amazing mobile career we have! My mother was a 3rd grade teacher for 20 + years and made huge contributions to those young lives, the gift of teaching. I have the utmost respect for how hard you both work, but how lucky we truly are to have such rewarding careers that make such a difference in peoples lives. Your KZbin is fun to watch and I love your content! Such a great couple you two are too, it really shines through your unique characters. Thank you for sharing your lives with all of us!

FYI - It's SUPER important that all your connections at both battery terminals are clean (no rust, oxidation, corrosion etc.). I say this since I noticed your struggle getting the terminals off. If they aren't clean current from the alternator won't recharge the battery and will lead to pre-mature failure. I loved the video and it really made me appreciate the fact that I'm retired 😉

Thanks for showing insights to your regular work routine. 2 very important professions with people in need. In my youth I used to work in a hospital (trauma surgical department) as a summer job and can absolutely relate to the knowledge that some patients won't leave the department alive. Great to see that the renovations works with Billy are going on well and that you were able to spend a wonderful weekend up north.

What a lovely video, you are both so humble and genuine, we came across your channel recently and have been following you ever since. Both of you do amazing work, I have been going through Cancer treatment myself and cannot thank the medical staff who have been looking after me enough, Luckily my wife is an ICU nurse (At a hospital not far from you Tal) and my daughter is in her 3rd year of the nursing program so I have had amazing support at home as well. There have been many times my wife has got home from a grueling shift both physically & emotionally drained and she 100% knows exactly how you feel when you say you are lucky to be able to leave the hospital at the end of your shift. We are excited to see your new adventures in Alaska with your fur baby, we are looking to sell out trailer and get a van and you inspire us to make it happen. keep up the great work and we hope your channel continues to grow.

Hi Spunky gals, top vlog, as I'm a mechanic, I can't help but cringe when I saw ur battery cables. Ok I wanna teach u how to fix this stuff by yourselves. Most u can do, trust me I know u have the skills. Get a small manual hand pump, always handy for many things. If u overfill the oil or any liquid, simply put hose down dip stick hole and remove. Ok u need 2 gauge battery cableseither make yourself or measure length of old ones and buy them, this is a must as u are in cold cranking conditions and the old cables are too thin to carry enough amps from battery to starter. That's enough for now, power to Sisters🌈🇦🇺🇨🇦

My son had hepatoblastoma at 10 months. My warrior is 16 now. With some issues resulting in chemo brain, hearing loss and memorization. He is so sweet and kind, I am very blessed. Ty ❤ I know that some people have been affected by the new MRNA jab. My friends siblings are all sick with issues from cancer to autoimmune disease which were not present prior to injection. I know you are a nurse but force injection is coercion. Nothing more or less but coercion.

LOL! I can't burp. I thought I was the only one. I think I'm missing a valve or something? I get others to burp for me. Not as satisfying physically, but just as funny! 😂

you 2 are so very special, and I love both of you for all you do, I wish I could be making vlogs for my channel, I am in the hospital right now, had my left foot amputated, and on CPAP 24/7, 15L of oxygen is not enough, I am so depressed.

Been enjoying your vids... but this one made me subscribe! Don't know why this one in particular... because I like knowing you're both three-dimensional/compassionate/smart/dedicated to helping professions maybe? Thanks for sharing these "sides" of each of you - cheers to woman of substance who also like to adventure!!!! (-Marty, short for Martha... ie: a like-minded, if not older, woman😜)

When you're a cancer patient with tubes sticking out of you, and have to wheel that pain in the butt pole around with you EVERYWHERE you go, and it starts beeping at midnight for no reason...I have so much Respect for what you do, I know it can't be easy. BTW, my cancer journey was 10 yrs ago in Boston, MA, I'm fine now, but I was very sick and Oncology Nurses are Awesome. ❤👍💚
