@@talandmads Your motivation is inspiring, Granted I've traveled a lot, but never by myself. Took USS Shanks from San Francisco to Manila Manila Phillipines, 1957. Then multiple trips to BC for weapons training. West Pac for 6 months, nothing like Your adventures, along with the Vanwives. I'm 72 ,5 out of 6 major joints replaced, I'm mobile its it's time. Oh you beautiful ladies; I love how you had so much fun showing off your new van. Love the pee funnel and new toilet. The pee funnel comes in handy after the beer, so it all works out. Love those window coverings. I like how you don't have to take them on and off; just roll them up. I was laughing when bowie wanted to get into the action; as he should, he's the main star. And you're so right about your mechanic. I've been going to the same place for 20 years or so. They don't try to SELL me anything. Mr. V! I love your family mechanic. Nice electrical work. 👏 You both work so hard! (Trick: Thumping your sternum with the flat of your fist (bone conduction), 10-15 times can wake you up a bit when you haven’t yet had your YUMMY AG1 yet. Scalp stimulation can perk you up too. And! A bit o’ molasses has a Ton of iron. 💪) Sorry for the loss of candles. Small sacrifice for your adventures. Unless you drive a car (a few tea light candles in the glove box for emergency heat can be a life saver, believe it or not...) I was all about candles until my cat knocked a tea light candle onto a dish with coconut oil remnants and a piece of paper adjacent...you get the idea. Synthetic items become engulfed with blue flame in a nano-second. Which reminds me: Do you have fire extinguishers? One for the battery cabinet below, and one for upstairs. It one of those things that you do not know until you know, ya know? May you never have to know. 💐🤺💕

Love the upgrades guys and well done on the electrical system Tal. It is so much more satisfying when you take on projects like this on your own, if you have any issues on the road you know exactly what you have done and it makes diagnosing and fixing that much easier. I know how important it is to find a trustworthy mechanic these days, We have been using the same guy for our vehicles for the last 15 years and will not go anywhere else (he's just up the street from The Sprinter Doctor too 😀) Really looking forward to seeing your travels to Alaska, my wife & I hope to do the same some day soon. Will you be driving through Sioux Falls South Dakota? You need to eat at Saanas Downtown. The rock sculpture of the Buffalo in the side of the hill up from the zoo, Falls Park, and if you drive through Rapid City you need to stop at the Prairie Berry Winery behind Mount Rushmore and get you the redass rhubarb wine. That is Native American tribal land where the birth of the spirit came from, and when you get rhubarb in a wine --you can't get any more American Midwest than that bottle of wine. And it's actually pretty good wine... Redass rhubarb it has a donkey on the bottle.
