As a hearing impaired person I struggled with the two years of masks- I need to partially read lips.- so when a child is profoundly deaf, thrown into a new culture and maybe new parents it can be so overwhelming- but also for dr Frome to show the little boy that his deafness will not hold him back by showing him the head of oncology is deaf using sign language- he has cm opened up that little boys world!!!!

Just dropping this one by... I get it now, what mishearing people were going through while this Covid/mask thing... But hey, whatever your "handicap" is, that's just a word ! You are as valuable as many valid people. Even more valuable. You took from your time to adapt, you pushed through this validist society... But there you are ! Keep pursuing your dreams, keep going.

Ah yes, taking a 5 year old to an OR while someone is cut open in surgery is exactly what he needed to see 🙈 I only visited the waiting room with my mom when she had migraines and I got recurring nightmares about the hospital
