I like the way you expressed the part about not knowing "how many more of those this poor little thing (battery) can take." It's a sentiment I've had myself.

Definitely add more rippers. I believe it'll help more?

If you make a rack on top made of angle iron. You can put concrete pier blocks on top to ad weight.i usually add about 10-14 pier blocks. Each one weights 50-75 lbs. Trust me it helps tremendously. Tie them on though cause they'll shake off. I have mine with a ball hitch.

Looks like you could use another spike between each of the spikes to loosen more material.

It needs to adjustable and grade over to one side then back again so mix gravel into the deep ruts . some adjust the wheel height and lift front so a blade goes one way and cuts out ruts or they come back again . good set up for light grading

I think your chain needs to be connected to your I-beam 1- 1 1/2 foot back from the front so your rippers get more bite.

Can probably go to your local heav6 equipment shop and get some used teeth to add to do your ripping, add some concreter parking vlocks on it ti add some weight
@veggitarianredneck Жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing. Definitely needs improvement, ie better rippers etc. I just don't know how much more weight I could ad though. It already weighs around a 1000 pounds.

@OffGrid406 oh, doesn't look that heavy, maybe add some used teeth angled forward so that it digs in and pulls itself downwards into the dirt as you drag it
@MichaelSmith-kn4eu8 ай бұрын
You can drag a piece of chain link fence behind it for super smooth

Weld on some 45 degrees on the I beams and use a longer chain, so u dont pull the teeth up, with a lower angle they will rip more. and maybe add weight and drive slower.
@veggitarianredneck Жыл бұрын
Yep 45 degree angles on the beams would help cut on the edges
@SOUTHTHIRTY1 Жыл бұрын
Just move the chains bac 12in onto the I beams

FCAW hardfacing wire on the ripper teeth face and scraper blade(s).
