Handy bit of kit to have, I made one with 1 inch angle iron welded together. Keeps the heat on the job and gets it done quicker. Happy new year Emma.

Nice and handy project Emma. You have made me realise I need a hearth now. :-) I agree that the American way of saying "sodder" ( an old English derogatory term) as against the proper pronunciation of "solder" even though they spell it correctly is a bit strange.
