What a great tutorial! The circuit you made is basically a simple implementation of an encoder using auto switches for logic gates. I wanted to point out the drawback for this design, but was pleasantly surprised you shared it in this video. Kudos. I'm an electronics engineer and just picked up NMS recently. There's so many complex circuit designs you can create using only the in-game components. I even started making schematics for documentation. Might I suggest you make more of these circuit videos. A seven segment display, or encoder-decoder, multiplexers, I really want to see how you make these. :)

Ever thought about making a bytebeat tip video? Just more tips and help on how bytebeats work If you enter the synchronizer menu and click on one of the repetitions of a bytebeat console, that console won’t play during that part of the song

I know this is 2yrs ago but, I use this same combi-lock but, mine has an alarm and red/green light so if the wrong combo is entered then the red light turns on and the alarm goes off and if correct then the green light turns on with no alarm :) took me a while to wire it all up properly but, is a great addition to a base for those who like to play as though the game is 'free for all' lol ya never can be too careful haha ;)

Hello I've noticed a flaw in that design, I'm not sure if there's a way to resolve this, but it seems that if you know the last digit it will open the door briefly... If anyone know how to fix this please let me know.

Yeah, they did some changes to the logic gates in recent updates.. so things did change... I have honestly given up with Logic in NMS, because its influences your game and render so much...

How are your building textures are so stable and my building textures are always dissapearing and other players sometimes didnt even see what i build?What i am doing wrong?

Are you on Console? Seems rendering is a little more unstable there. Also, depending on how many building parts your base has, or if there are a lot of other bases very close to you, that will cause bad render happening.

Doesn't work, if you press only the last number in the sequence the door will open and close quickly. I've been able to fix it by adding validation with an AND gate.

Thumbs down, this tutorial is incomplete and there is no followup video that addresses the problems with this. There needs to be a reset mechanism if the correct number is pressed but in the wrong order after a different correct number is pressed.
