Andrew, keeping it simple and illustrating proper fundamentals allowing natural forces to swing the club. Bravo, excellent explanation!

I don't blame this guy, there is lots of talk about shifting weight forward and getting shaft lean. I know a lot of us try our best and play with what we have. Thanks for sharing tips with us.

You’re not wrong there!! Golfers are making a lot of work of it to be honest. I’m doing my best to ween my subscribers off advil and ice packs after they play golf! 🤣🤣🤣

Thank you for what you do. I went down the body driven path and even in good shape in my early 30's I realized I would not be playing golf for very long like that, talk about being hard on the body. I switched to what you're teaching here over a year ago, vastly improved, and feel like I can play with this swing for forever.

I’m so glad you made that decision! This student was literally worn out after hitting balls for thirty minutes! There’s an easier way!!! Best, Coach A. 🏌️♂️⛳️🙏🏻

Did this drill today at the range -- major difference in feel -- much looser swing after doing it with both hands, alternating -- the drill gives you a relaxed free swing, almost better than using the yellow or orange golf aid. Thank You!

That’s awesome to hear!! It really brings an awareness to the wrists and arms that’s missing for so many golfers. Glad it helped! Best, Coach A. 🏌️♂️⛳️🙏🏻

80% of golfers are afflicted with this driving motion with the body. Leaving the arms at the start line!! All effort and very little (relative) speed. There’s an easier way! Best, Coach A. 🏌️♂️⛳️🙏🏻

It would help the visual with actual swing speed numbers...It took me a while to understand it's faster to relax after I started seeing increase in swing speed/ball speed with a more relaxed swing.

A question I’ve had forever. Is the release passive and gravity driven as the swing on the right side? Or should I be exerting force in my wrists to release the club? Been confused about that forever. Can someone help me with that? Thank you.
@AndrewEmeryGolf5 ай бұрын
I would say ‘force’ in the wrists isn’t the right approach! However in my experience ‘educating’ the arms and wrists is essential! Once you have an understanding of how the club head responds, by integrating simple drills into practice - you can start to allow it to happen naturally. Best, Coach A. 🏌️♂️⛳️🙏🏻
@jawjuh10055 ай бұрын
@@AndrewEmeryGolf thank you! So if I understand correctly it is a passive, gravity release within the bounds of how the arms and wrists need to work to produce the desired shot pattern? Thank you for your time.

Thats what happens when trying to move forward and not knowing how. And when you were told not to cast.

Maybe the golfer is reacting to his clubface being closed 😅
@AndrewEmeryGolf5 ай бұрын
A salient point that with respect doesn’t apply in this case. A dynamic reaction to a closed face is to tip (hang back to add loft) and/or swing excessively inside out. This golfer does neither which is why he hits its very low shots that predominantly hook. Best, A. 🏌️♂️⛳️🙏🏻
