This was a video that I wanted to do so many years ago pre C word but didn't think it was worth putting on here so I did it anyway just in case new players happen to have trouble with Larxene's boss then they can come a cross this Simple Guide on how to fight here in her absent silhouette or data fight.

No problem. Always happy to help. To answer your question no they are not the same. The absent silhouette is what I like to call a wake-up call challenge since they show the first absent silhouette in the underworld in the coliseum in the early game. They each open the fight differently in the absent silhouette fights like Marluxia for example, in his absent silhouette fight he will instantly attack Sora after he cast doom on Sora whereas in his data fight, he teleports to the middle of the arena while casting the rosa cage around Sora & summoning 3 rose pools on the floor. So each absent silhouette & organization member has a different opening to how their fight starts in the data version compared to their normal fights.

This is close to the middle section of the game when the good stuff happens in hallow bastion. You can do the same steps only thing is trying to execute some of the movements like getting to the clone without aerial dodge will require timing on using high jump to get to the real clone without get hit by her but any other growth ability like quick run & dodge roll you should already have since after you finish either Halloween town or either Aladdin world twilight Town will be open & you will be able to get limit form & level that form to get dodge roll.

@@aominm Glad it helped. Also, good luck with critical mode. Regular critical mode is hard in early game but on level 1 it is brutal but fun still since the game still gives you tools to help out with the playthrough.

I understand that you are frustrated with her fight. Also, I was not even trying to go for no damage because I usually get hit while doing these. Also, You are right about the RNG but the real reason is learning her openings. True story I hated her fight as well & sucked ass at it. When I started handicapping myself when I fought her with just valor form, I learned how she worked which also took a lot of trial & error to do. Still, once I got it down, I was able to fight her like normal & learn how to dodge her attack which is why I made this video so that others can learn about her fight & I make sure to give out as much as I learned & not leave out anything. So again RNG is not the only thing because I saw people who know nothing about her fight & get good RNG & win. Now that right ther is what I call getting lucky versus someone who knows about the fight while getting great rng. Getting that while having knowledge about the fight makes it seem easier because players can react to what the boss is about to do like what I did in this video. Instead of focusing on how I got good RNG, watch the video & look at what I am showing because I explain what moves you will need, where her openings are, etc. What happened in my video will not be the same for you or anyone else because RNG plays a huge role in knowing how to react to those different rng. Again sorry if you are upset about her fight but watch the video closely & learn the fight itself & not try to get the exact result I got because I have no control over what the game does whatsoever.

@@keybladewar22 sorry for my salty comment, I had maybe grinded her for 15 hours and the beginning of the fight is sooo easy and everything is straight forward until phase 2 where I get so much variance for whatever reason. I was SO frustrated after a day or two of dying to the first lighting strike in her DM or the 5 strikes or lightning BEFORE her DM sometimes. I'm sure her data battle is gonna have me losing my shit again First AS I ever beat and first "challenge" in kh2 I've done since beating Seph in vanilla in 2006 so ... Thanks for that my man!!!

I get upset at game at time when I try to fight a boss especially when they pull out the DM & I try to figure it out so that was why I didn't respond back negatively since I know what it was like fighting her & some of the others like Demyx back in KH2 vanilla. Also, you are so right about her data fight. She will start the fight differently than her AS counterpart. So she will be tough but by then you will have some great tools to deal with her move she does at the start of that fight.
