A few things I like about little aussie rockets; 1. You can run a bead 2. you wear proper welding ppe 3. You're not a fyckwit 4...8 complimentary but rude 9. you give me hope I can heat water in my lil cabin in the woods

Insulation👍. Also air flow coming the through the fuel adds turbulence and mixing 👍. It's got stirring and frying and yummy so who can complain?👍

Love the new design here! And thank you for the demonstration of it as well, my question is use of type of insulation for weight? Or just enough for heat transfer opposed to create type?
@LittleAussieRockets2 жыл бұрын
Thanks 👍 Aluminium silicate insulation is what I have used. I tested the stove off camera with and without insulation. With was much better, cleaner burn and was easier to use, could handle thicker fuel.

Hey Little Aussie... would it be a viable business model to sell the pieces of this build... as a kit, along with an instruction booklet for wanna bee weilders? I mean watching your vids has been inspirational to me, and I can guess there are others who share this sentiment. maybe there's enough of us who would wanna be, I dunno, Little Yankees, Little Brits, Little Scots, yes and little Jamaicans too... Just a rant... Don't have a rivet gun though. mmmm maybe there's another way... just to make this build kit-doable

The benefits of adding insulation?
@DerekWoolverton2 жыл бұрын
Cool design. With the insulation, could you get away with a thinner gauge metal on the outer box?
@LittleAussieRockets2 жыл бұрын
The outside Shell is also the feet for the stove. I could go thinner but I would risk making the stove fragile.

Nice compact project. I like the addition of the handle. Will it have a damper/air regulator at the bottom inlet or is it done now? Seemes like it works fine as it is. (I wondered if the fire might creep up the feeding tube.) Your work efficiency rate has gone up significantly. Maybe it's the result of an energy drink?
@LittleAussieRockets2 жыл бұрын
It runs fine as is, but your suggestion is valid. More tests are needed. I'm trying a new editing style, keep things moving along. Your time is important, I'm trying not to waste it. So thanks for watching 👍

wild this build *doesn’t* have regulators yet! 😂 based on other videos on this channel. [vortex stove?] @LittleAussieRockets is known to put more regulators on a single stove than dozens of other channel’s builds combined. 💜 … and I totally approve! 🥰

I was looking , and no smoke! So would you tell me if smoke was evident in the workshop
@LittleAussieRockets2 жыл бұрын
That's the advantage of a rocket stove, once it got up to running temperature there was very little smoke. It wasn't offensive, plus my workshop is open to the elements. I wouldn't use it indoors.
