It's risky from closed guard when the opponent uses his knee explosively to break your posture by slamming behind your elbow. I think it was Caio Terra's way to fish for the Kimura... so be mindful your elbow can be injured while locked out like that.

iamcarpetpython try it and see, but I think not. The pressing armbar also relies on the rotation of the arm, and this is preventing that rotation

Couldn't he armlock you with his arms? Like when you try a kimura or an americana in side control, the guy straighten his arm to defend it, and you just attack the armlock. Would it be possible?
