I believe where he lives the owner is responsible for replacing appliances that are advertised/approved and the maintenance of the building itself only. You can do whatever to suit your own tastes inside within reason.

He did a great job!! I watch a lot of these and one thing I wonder is why do they always water down the paint? You’d probably be using the same amount as if you didn’t because you have to use more coats for coverage with the watered down paint.

People use water to spread the paint better, it also absorbs quicker, control texture and to extend the paint
