I will not hold my nose and vote, for a candidate who is on the record as saying that they will do nothing specifically for African Americans. I've said that the lesser of two evils is still evil. If the best the American elective process can do is present us with two candidates who continue to push African Americans to the margins then why should I vote for either. I would rather be the disruptor who always votes their conscious and challenges the candidates to either draft or approve meaningful legislation that specifically impact my demographic. I have no issues using the write-in vote. Black people need to stop being led and start being leaders in the political process.
